Trying to answer the question: Is a black man in a hoodie really that scary?
Take a stand against stereotypes. Wear a hoodie for Halloween.
Yea real classy and creative to basically go as Trayvon Martin for Halloween. The only thing more controversial would be going as George Zimmerman complete with prop handgun.
Maybe I’m just slow, but is this campaign trying to say that Trayvon was just some innocent kid out for a walk, and that he didn’t do anything to Zimmerman? I’m so sick of hearing about those two people.
As far as people in hoodies being “scary”… if someone was coming at me with their hood up or any other method of obscuring their face I would definitely have my guard up.
Thoughts? Anyone going to do this dumbass idea for Halloween? After looking at the youtube channel that put this out, it appears to just be some guy that is trying to stir the pot.
