Innnnnnnnteresting.  A GHOST GLOCK:

Holy, that Spectre artwork is quite possibly the worst logo I’ve ever seen.  Looks like bad tattoo art.  Now that I got that off my chest, once completed this 80% lower will fit fit the Glock full size 9mm and full size .40 slides.  You can pre-order the frame for $135 on the Polymer80 website.  For the price you get the frame, the polymer jib, the drill bits & End-mill bits, and locking block so you can get it done on your drill press.  The areas that need to be milled out to complete this project include: the barrel bridge, top rails of the receiver, and slide guide rails.  The price isn’t terrible I guess, but I really wish they could bring it down around $50 or less.  You can get a factory brand new Glock slide for $200 right now… so obviously this $135 Ghost Glock + your time is just for a fun little project.  Additionally you get the novelty of bragging to others that your Glock is off the books and you finished it on your drill press, which admittedly is pretty damn cool.

They have some legal info including an ATF letter if you care to take a look.

Polymer-80-Spectre-Glock-Lower-Receiver1:54 – My head almost exploded when they said they based the grip for their frame on the 1911 rather than the Glock.  JMB is rolling in his grave, and word from Austria is that Gaston “literally can’t even”.

This isn’t pretty but it appears to have worked:

Home-Barrel-RiflingCool.  Royal Nonesuch; take notes.  This guy is out-Royal-Nonesuch’ing you at your own game. :P

What kind of sus coil did this man make at the beginning?  Is he bootlegging liquor in his spare time? haha either way it’s a damn nice coil. I skipped through his “making of” video on his page, and it’s really neat how it fills the copper tube up with liquid parafin wax before he bends it. I like this guy’s style. haha nm.. actually he did make a distiller as shown in this video. This guy has some cool talents. 10/10 – would party with.

Thoughts?  This guy needs to accuracy test one of his barrels vs smooth bore.  I’d like to see the results!

JohnnyIShootStuff does a DIY:

chappelle-princeI started off not liking this idea at all until he put the jacket over it… that’s a damn good idea.  I’d zip the jacket up though.

Seems to me like it would work reasonably well to keep snoops and robbers away.  Make sure you use a shitty jacket though… if put it under your Arcteryx Veilance jacket and even the gulliest of thieves is going to spot the quality and nab it.

Relax and take notes:

DIY-Bullet-EarphonesDamn that’s what I call using a drill to its max potential!

I have a pair of Munitio 9mm earphones which the company gave me, which I’m still using daily (I LOVE them).  For those on a budget though, and want to make a bunch of pairs up for friends it might be worth buying all the sandpaper and getting your hands dirty with this DIY.

From the same guy that brought us the epic shit shovel AK-47.

Homebrew-Glock

There are tons of pictures and info in the Iron Glock thread over at NorthEastShooters.  The guy even fit his parts inside a Glock airsoft receiver and it worked amazing.

Shooting the iron Glock:

This isn’t the first homebrew glock we have seen, but definitely the most crude looking.  Granted, the one I just linked in the previous sentence did have a completely homebrew upper (slide) as well, which was pretty awesome.

For those that don’t know, the polymer (lower) frame of the Glock is the regulated part.  Funny how in most (all?) states, building your own firearm is perfectly legal, and buying and/or mail Glock slides requires no special paperwork, permits, requirements etc… Just like it were something like a chocolate bar.

Screw drone MOUNTED firearms… make the whole firearm the drone:

Trust a hipster to turn a bicycle wheel into a done *eye roll* Initially I was surprised it wasn’t an Apple keyboard, but he probably didn’t want to potentially wreck his.  Much respect due to that great white shark body board though… that was really legit.   Some of you will be saying “what about the weight symmetry that a bicycle wheel, keyboard, book, bodyboard, and shitty telephone offer, which a firearm does not?”… ugh rookies.  Leave drone guns up to the operating professionals.

Thoughts?  Anyone else want to make a 360 degree ring with Deagles pointing every 30 degrees?  I don’t have that kind of money, so I’ll probably just wait until I have a free $211 and do it with 12 Hi-Points.
