Maybe i’m getting old, but even playing Bond on the Wii (where the screen is always jerking around when you move your hand slightly) made me nauseous. I’ll probably puke for sure when playing something similar like this in 3D.

The video is done for 3D stereoscopic glasses (red blue). The final game will likely use the more expensive type of glasses that come with 3D TVs. Which reminds me, I haven’t had a pair of those red/blue glasses since I quit buying comic books and cereal.

New York Mills, NY – Shortly before 1 p.m. on that Thursday afternoon, Dickan walked into the cellular phone store on Commercial Drive, with a .357 magnum in his hand, and a list in his pocket containing the six names of the AT&T store employees to which he was holding such deep anger, and planned to kill as a result.

Authorities believe Dickan could have been even more successful with his list of six victims, if not for the instantaneous actions of Rome Police Officer Donald J. Moore, who was off-duty, but in the store as a customer at the time of the shooting. “He heard and sees the gun, draws his weapon, and fired,” Lt. Little said of Officer Moore’s reaction.

Man there are some crazy people out there.

Pretty awesome that the armed off duty police officer was able to save at least 6 lives.  See, guns save lives too, it works both ways.

That’s the 2nd story in the past few days that has involved AT&T and guns. The other was the man in Oregon who tried to shoot out the tires of a getaway car of some robbers who stole multiple iPhones.

Jason Bradbury takes on a real SAS solider on the worlds first full scale version of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 pit level:

Very interesting idea, and pretty nicely executed… even if it is staged.

As SayUncle pointed out, the gun is a GSG-5 (which is a .22LR) not a H&K MP5 (9mm)… huge difference.

No matter what online first person shooter game you play, whether it be HALO, Modern Warfare 2, etc… You are always going to have to deal with campers.

By definition, a camper just sits at one spot in the game map and waits around for another player just so they can kill them.  This happens on ALL online first person shooter games, and can get very irritating.

Some might say it’s good strategy, which may be true… but it takes the fun out of playing.

The one good thing is that once you get killed by a camper once, it lots of times gives away their position so you can go kill them.  If they are a habitual camper though, unfortunately they will most likely just go back to the same spot, or else find another spot to set up camp.

Hilarity ensues in games like Modern Warfare 2, where the users can have on mics and talk to one another.

What are your thoughts on campers?
