Yes-way Jose… it happened. Jose with a negligent discharge:

Twenty-five years after making World Series headlines by helping the A’s win a title, former Bash Brother Jose Canseco made news of a decidedly different kind Tuesday, accidentally shooting himself at his Las Vegas home, according to his fiancée and Las Vegas Police.

He had been at the shooting range a few days earlier. He didn’t know it was loaded,” Knight told The News. “The middle finger was hanging by a thread, and I wrapped his hand in a towel and then called 911. The doctors said they would either have to amputate or do reconstructive surgery. But if they do surgery, he won’t be able to use it again. He blew away an artery and a big bone chunk.

Atlanta, GA. – A Fulton County mother was outraged Wednesday that her autistic son was suspended and charged with a felony over a picture he drew. The 14 year old is a student at Ridgeview Charter School in Atlanta.

So this 14 year old kid  with autism is charged with making “terroristic threats”, and yet a full grown man who taught his students a geometry lesson outlining the assassination of our president gets off basically scott free?  Yea.. that makes sense

This autistic kid and the 13 year old finger gun girl should get together for a friendly talk.  Hopefully she wears mitts and he doesn’t bring a pencil though.  No telling what could happen otherwise.

Poor kid… Like he already doesn’t have enough to deal with being autistic.

“I was shooting the markers at the front of the board,” Taylor Trostle said. “It was just like this and I was like ‘pow pow’ and then she just turned around.”

Taylor was sent to the principal’s office and immediately suspended for three days. Her write up says the finger gun was pointed in the teacher’s direction.

“That was considered a terroristic threat because the teacher feared for her life,” Kristin Trostle said.

What is this world coming to?

If an person is “threatened” by some kid making a gun with their finger, then they should be the ones taking a break and getting some help.  I can’t even believe that the school’s code of conduct is supporting the teacher in this ridiculous claim.

As much as I poke fun at the UK.. If there is even a slight chance that this incident screws up this honor roll girl’s future, there is really something wrong with our country.
