firearm training

OMG “Guided Chaos” guys look:

The script would read “Opening scene, we see the shooter on an indoor range which looks a lot like John Wayne Gacy’s basement”.

0:26 – Balance training always comes in handy.  Personally I train on log roll though…. having it spin you around and dunk you is some bullshit, be prepared.

0:39 – Awwwwwww shit the old “No-Look/Switch Hand /Moving/Point Shoot” such a classic.  You can tell him and his buddies made this shit up just to be like “HELL YEA WE OPERATE HARD BRO!”

1:00 – PURE CHAOS guys… pure uncut chaos.  MY MIND WAS LIKE *KABOOM*

1:09 – I wonder what being a “Guided Chaos Jostler” pays?  Do they have another opening?  Is there an application / interview?  “Where have you jostled in the past?”  “Are you comfortable jostling in all types of environments, disruptive ones even?”  “Ever run into any issues in a jostle? If so how did you solve them?”  “Where or who do you see yourself jostling in 10 years?”

1:29 – He trains like he’s on the school yard, and those five dummies are bullies who want to give him an atomic wedgie.

Guided-Chaos-Adaptive-Defense1:44 – He’s in full flashback mode here.  His mom warned him about this type of training brining up old thoughts of the past.  Hear his primal UHHHhhgggggggg uHhhHHGGGGGGAaAAHHhhhhhh.

Get some more Guided Chaos over at their website Attack Proof, and find out where you can train with them.  I know your mom and his mom will be besties.  After your 2nd training session they’ll even collaborate and your mom might make cookies and his might make little triangle cut sandwiches with the crust removed.

Thoughts?  I bet he’s asked his mom so many times if he could get the Guided Chaos logo tattooed on his lower back.  She keeps saying no.

Yeager really toned down the douchebaggery in this:

Surprisingly enough, I actually agree with almost all that he has to say.  I guess it was bound to happen sooner or later.  Even his shirt isn’t douchy in this vid… he’s on a roll.

Speaking of rolls, his shoulder is still needs a bolt tightened in it, but I can tolerate that this time.

I was bracing for the firearm myth of “putting a photographer downrange isn’t dangerous at all” but thankfully that never came.

Giving credit where credit is due, I left him the following compliment on his youtube video:

I give you a rough time on my blog (ENDO) lots, but this video was great. Keep up the good work, I watch all your vids even though many of them piss me off.

To which he responded:

Why do you get angry? Did I insult your 1911?

*sigh* I didn’t reply to that but just for kicks I should have said “Because you’re a coward” (note: I know that pisses him off, but as I mentioned before I have no actual opinion on his actions in Iraq).  Maybe then I could have got a response like “Oh yea? come to SHOT blog nerd and say that to my face and i’ll break your fucking back!”

Try as you will, you will never be as operator as Chris Collins:

  • (0:16) – Is it necessary to use a real gun to practice such a drill?  It seems to be asking for an negligent discharge into the “aggressors” hand etc..
  • (1:58) – Punching with your handgun and flashlight? “I’ve taken it from impact from shooting a projectile, to impact using the steel” – LOL ok buddy whatever you say…
  • (2:45) – Where they start play fighting and trade taking shots from holds LOL priceless..
  • (3:45) – Speed & Accuracy (trust your team members) – *epic facepalm* whyyyyy?
  • (4:10) – Nice work on keeping the camera man in front of your muzzle, then dumping off a few shots… real classy and safe.
  • (4:37) – Yet again the camera man is infront of the muzzle during live fire
  • (4:42) – Why risk one life, when you can find 2 people stupid enough to stand next to your target?  Like I always say 2 is 1 and 1 is none.

It’s almost like Synchronized Live Fire Training For Operators got together with the South American Operator Stupidity Clinic and had this bastard American child Chris Collins.

I’m sure there will be some people in the comments that will justify having people near shooting targets, along with all that other ridiculous stuff.

The combative handgun skills Chris Collins teaches in that course is too rookie for me, I’m holding out for a combative rifle course when I can practice Ma Deuce disarms, and get ample opportunity to stand down range near a target being shot at with a recoliless rifles and M249s.

Make sure to save the video just in case… you know how these things have a habit of vanishing.

If you want to register for some of these classes G-1 Tactical Solutions is the place.  I’d like to see the waiver they get you to sign…

Truly amazing that no one got shot, unless they had to edit out all the fatalities:

As most of you who follow my blog already know, I am always on the search for the holy grail of ridiculous firearm training videos. Just when I thought I found it, someone emails me something that goes beyond where the bar was previously set at “full retard”. The above video set the bar really high.

I love when people are taught to do a scan of their surroundings, but all it really turns into is a robotic side to side sweep of their head where they really don’t see anything.

Thanks to bozos like this, no wonder good life insurance is so expensive.

HAIX footwear (the creators of this video) call this brand promotion?   Obviously we went to different business schools.  I’d consider this video more like brand suicide.

Somebody please save the video before they delete it!

UPDATE: Thanks Hizenburg for the re-up.   Here is an additional backup just in case.
