COMMENTI’d have to say I almost forgot about our Goatse logo’d friends over at Gemtech. They have been quiet for a while, letting Silencerco make a majority of the noise.
How long until someone threads the inside of this thing and adds secondary tube with baffles? That seems to be the potential point of all these new “THIS IS NOT A SUPPRESSOR AND CAN’T EVER BE ONE” / trolling the ATF type products (See Ares Armor… Sig MPX…). We all know that quick disconnect spring mounting looks very nice / familiar. LOL I can see it now, at the very minimum some eBay genius is going to make an oil filter step down thread coupler for “solvent collection when cleaning”.
GoatseTech has this blast jacket up for $195 on their site, so go nuts if you like it.

I don’t think the video was particularly amazing, but it was well done enough to post… plus in general I think suppressors are great.
I love the look of running a short barrel + suppressor inside a rifle length quad rail.

With all the “safety” measure antigunners are trying to implement, I really wish they would start advocating suppressor use… it only makes sense. Oh wait suppressors according to them are probably only for carrying out untraceable assassinations from 25 miles away in complete silence.

Research and development over at Gemtech results in some suppressors that don’t make the cut. What do they do? Naturally they head to the parking lot with them and a sledge hammer.
Good choice of music for the video. Wow did I ever cringe at 0:18 seconds when he gave that suppressor the first whack and it launched into the air. At least he had glasses on… not that those would probably do much.
