georgia

They had to get a former cop to weigh in and scare the bozos into thinking that Georgia will become a more dangerous place:

“making it easier for domestic abusers, violent criminals, and the mentally ill to carry loaded guns”.  We’re talking criminals doing crimes with these guns, so as usual whatever is written down somewhere as a cute little new “law” doesn’t matter one bit to any of those kind of people.

If you click through to the twitter replies there’s the usual uneducated pearl-clutching you’d expect.

This guy is running for Georgia state governor:

The only thing I find more cringy than politics and the main people involved, are low effort but try hard promo videos… worse yet when they are gun related.

What are the chances Brian has at least one gun with a bible inscription on it, a punisher skull, or MoLoN LaBe?

I didn’t scroll the YouTube comments, but I wouldn’t be surprised if piehitters (who don’t even live in Georgia) were like “Brain, I’m GoNa VoTe 4 You.  IMpoRTnt Queshtun Tho diD u ShOoT yUr YETI cOoLerz Yet?”

The “I have guns, so treat my daughter well” joke is so played out.  I don’t know when it was first uttered, but I’m sure it was shortly after the invention of black powder.  I think it’s safe to say the joke has run its course.

Oh no, freedom is brewin’ in Georgia:

Americans for Responsible Solutions, which is Mark “Derp” Kelly and Sympathy Pawn Giffords’ group put out the video.  Apparently as shooters themselves, they don’t like other people having freedom.  Damn elitist attitudes… not everyone can be an astronaut and a congressperson dammit.

0:18 – “They want guns everywhere.  Even in the hands of previous gun offenders.” – Someone please explain that to me.  Is that for real?  Is it like it sounds?

I like the video, not the message.  Try putting it on mute and starting up this track while you watch it.  See if that doesn’t improve your day. haha

ENDO Blog reader Piers Morgan asks some tough questions:

Piers-Morgan-Eyes-Closed-Mouth-Open-Ears-OffWow that Michael Hill kid sounds messed up.  I can’t even imagine.

What’s “the system” supposed to do?  Difficult question for sure.

6:12 – Gun talk starts here.  The brother definitely isn’t for strengthening current laws, he acknowledged that criminals don’t follow the law.  Refreshing.  He doesn’t entirely know what he’s talking about though and lost a lot of credibility with the “The guns that we have in the United States, a majority of them probably didn’t even come from the United States, they were probably smuggled in from somewhere.” Uh… no.

Piers actually seemed like a decent human being in this interview, I was surprised. It almost didn’t warrant the usual Piers picture if it wasn’t for his previous track record.

Be sure of your target and what’s behind it apparently doesn’t always apply:

Meh $175,000… it’s a start I suppose.  Sadly I’m assuming that’s all they will get.  I don’t know why someone didn’t step in a long time ago and just tell them to build up the berm and solve the problem once and for all.  Wait… the range was across the street from them though… and the firing line wasn’t even facing them?  Wow… that must be one dangerous range.

Pabst-Blue-Ribbon-PBR-Bullet-Can-Explosion-HipsterShout out to the lawyer Desiree Duke.  She managed the win contrary to my recommendation regarding lawyers needing to have epic hair.  Although maybe her not-a-single-shit-was-given pixie haircut is what did it?

Thoughts?  Do you think $175,000 is enough?  The house doesn’t look very expensive (I don’t know market prices there mind you) but there definitely has to be a price on emotional distress dealing with that for 10 years.

Savannah, GA.  Watch the video and tell me that I’m wrong:

  • “Ride or die” sistas
  • Weave
  • Dreadlocks
  • A fez
  • Beretta U22 Neos with laser
  • Warning shots
  • Hair pulling
  • Suspiciously weak charges

I don’t even know where to start with this one… first of all, a Beretta Neos?  LOL… amazing choice of firearm for such asshattery, and it even had a WalMart laser on it.

I love how the camera panned the crime scene and there were chunks of hair everywhere.

So you can fire a pistol in the air in a crowded area and only get “reckless conduct” (appears to be a misdemeanor in Georgia) as a charge?  Interesting…  Oh here we go, apparently the police there may want to keep the crime stats low.  Yeah… that’s real ethical. *eye roll*
