gun safety

Everytown For Gun Safety made a toon to pull on your heart strings:

Everytown seems like it would be an ally to gun rights, until you take a look at the issues on their site.  It’s non stop gun-blaming.. blame guns for hate crimes, blame ghost guns which are.. and I quote “the fastest-growing gun safety problem facing our country.” And on an on.. smh.  Ok thurrrrrr.

“End gun violence by wearing Orange on June 4-6”.. yea sounds legit.  I’m sure June 7th and on the US will be a mental illness & crime-free utopia.

Definitely something all new gun owners should watch.  He put a table of contents in the video details if you click through.

If you click the thumbnail to enlarge, you’ll see that I shoehorned in the pic of when they had my ENDO Glock Adapter on the show.  Here’s the video where they pull it out as the “wildcard pick”.

Uggggggggh x2:

*smh* *sigh*

I just want to pinch Michael Bloomberg’s little cheeks after every one of these cute lil’ vids drops *smh*:

0:17 – “Part time cashier. Full time patriot.” – Ugh and she didn’t even LOL after that?  That’s how I knew this video was fake, because that line is pure gold.

0:40 – OHHHHHHH YEA!  It’s on.  Boondock Saints carry.  This guy is basically irresistible to females with that setup.  If any of the three girls who follow this blog could weigh in on the attractiveness of that carry method in the comments, it would be much appreciated.

1:02 – “Tell me exactly, how would anyone know that you’re a good guy with a gun?” – Uhhhhhhh maybe because the good guy with the gun is not shooting innocent people for starters?

1:05 – Sweet, I’m loving that pin :P.  He just needs an Active Shooter Response shirt, and a concealed carry badge now.

1:18 – Touches on the fear of government confiscation.

Everytown for Gun Safety is so dumb.    I love how they think they are hurting the pro-gun crowd with these cute little videos.  You mad?  I’m not.  I’m not even disappointed; I’m just entertained.

bruhAfter watching the video, I knew I had to check out their new website  Oh man is it pure gold… starting off in large letters at the top how “Lax gun laws put single women at risk” (WAAAAT?).  Then we have such headings as “The Boyfriend Loophole”.   Cool story that Everytown thinks that if a guy is enough of a piece of trash to abuse a woman, the guy will be all law abiding like “WHOAAAA WHOAAAA HOLD ON, I WILL ONLY BUY OR OWN A GUN THROUGH AN FFL, AND ONLY IF I LEGALLY CAN.”.  Classically wishful anti-gun thinking.  If you want a good laugh make sure to scroll down and read all sections of the site.  The “Myths vs facts” section gives examples of how girls can respond to a gun related “Myth” a guy tries to tell them.  Then directly after that section there is a “real life gunsplainers” section with a joke quote from Colion Noir, a expectedly abrasive quote from Ted Nugent (smh he actually said “deserves to be raped”?  Why does this guy exist as a voice of the pro-gun crowd?  How is anything he ever says, doing us any favors?), and a quote from NRA’s Cam Edwards which is basically saying that a victim should have the means to stop an assault which they are being subjected to… not really sure how this can be spun as a negative thing, but Everytown seems to think it is.

NOooooooooooo not Jennifer Aniston and Sofia Vergara.  For celebrities, some of them sure have shitty front cellphone cameras.  My sister would hit me with a low blow “They are probably using Android phones” joke if I was having this conversation with her.  Frankly that would be accurate for the most part, as much as I hate to admit it.

I’m not sure who like 60% of those celebrities are, but now I don’t even care.

Everytown-for-gun-safety-logo1:12 – AAHHHHHH no not Nigel Barker from America’s Next Top Model.  Say it ain’t so.  *shifty eyes* I mean… uh, who is this man?  He’s a celebrity? I’ve never seen him before.

For those of you confused at the message, Everytown is sneak AF and wants to end gun violence by basically getting rid of guns.

Side not, who the hell makes 4:3 aspect ratio videos in 2015?  That’s infuriating me more than the actual content of the video tbh.

Holy this is over the top:

0:25 – “You can help.  After using a firearm one should clear the chamber, then check the chamber, then check it again.  If there’s a safety put it on, then lock it up.” <—- AHHAHAHHA all that makes for such a cool starry bra.  Real great strategy too for when you need to defend yourself… you know, because there’s always ample time to dial in a safe code, find the magazine, find the gun, load the gun, then save your life.

Oh and this all to get you to sign *yawn* yet another White House petition which will go nowhere.  This is the description:

America is great. But it would be even greater it if had less preventable gun incidents.

Every American can support personal gun responsibility and safety, whether you’re a gun owner, a gun opposer, a senator, a mom, or a gun-owning senator mom who opposes her own guns. That’s why we want to make one day a year America’s official “National Gun Safety Day.”

So help us make June 16th an official day where we promote and support ongoing efforts by safety organizations, the gun industry, retailers, communities and regular people with and without guns to create momentum for gun safety. Because the fewer holes we put in America, the happier we’ll all be.

evolve-life-country-responsiblity“Days” and “months” are so hot right now in marketing… so hot.  This campaign is especially retarded it really warms my heart.
