Femto-Photography; an imagining technique where you can create slow motion videos of light in motion. Yea.. that’s badass.
If it wasn’t a TED talk I would have screamed video trickery. So incredible.
Thoughts? Who’s saving up for one of these for shooting vids? :P That would be a good way to one-up those current slow motion guys on youtube.

I have always been fascinated with high speed photography, especially when it’s a photo of something being shot.

In quite a few of these pictures the bullet appears to be a pellet, which means that the gun used would have been an air rifle. According to wikipedia the average air gun fires the projectile at less than 1000 ft/sec (300 m/s) which means that you wouldn’t need very expensive hardware to capture pictures like this.
