Ban assault knives!  Ban assault Asian dudes!  Ban bandana and track pant wearing assault thugs!

So what’s the lesson here?  Police either should draw their guns during routine interaction with a person, or else maintain a huge distance between them and the person to avoid getting potentially stabbed?  Better issue every police officer bull horns so they can yell at people from a distance with their gun ready. Maybe even just to be safe the police officer could get a remote controlled robot to deliver a cellphone to the person they want to talk to, while they sit 200+ yards away with the guy lined up in the crosshairs of a precision rifle.

Piano man FXhummel1 talks about his knife addiction in song:

Good song.  I enjoyed that he didn’t dumb down the nomenclature.  If you don’t now what something is google it!

FXhummel1-YouTube-Gun-SongsMake sure to check out the 1st knife addiction song he did back in March of 2012.

I don’t have the same appreciate for knives as I do guns… I do love a good knife though.  I know some would scoff at my Spyderco Endura EDC, but so far it has opened all the champagne cases and shipping boxes I’ve needed it to so I’d say it’s working just fine.  Maybe next time I HALO jump out of a spaceship and have mid-air fights with foreign operators, I’ll be disappointed the knife didn’t hold up.

KA-BAR… it’s 2013.  Have some dignity:

I got emailed this in one of those mass unpersonalized type blasts from a KA-BAR marketing guy… I saw the word “zombie” and thought he was shitting me.  Apparently they didn’t get the memo – the one I got read:

ALL zombie related products must be destroyed by January 10th, 2013.  This is including weak bullshit such as fluorescent handled knives.

KA-BAR-Zombie-KnivesTo get back the warm fuzzy feeling I had for KA-BAR before this video, I went back and re-watched The Making Of KA-BAR Knives.  Ahhhh yea… that’s better.

Might be good company to your 1911 survival knife, while also complementing the dual 1911s in a NY reload holster you’re no doubt carrying.

Want one? Amazon has them on sale for $9

Hell yea:

If you ask me everyone needs a KA-BAR.  I’ve got their classic USMC fighting knife with the leather sheath.

Nothing beats a good “making of” video…

These guys make it easy:

The knife and picatinny mountable sheath is $135 over at Tops Knives.  That seems like a lot, but can you really put a price on having a rail accessible backup knife? :P

I wonder how long until larger brands start pumping out picatinny rail sheaths for existing knives in their lineup?
