London

A response to their knife problem in London:

1:30 – “If they can’t buy them they’re going to make them no matter what anyway.” Yea no kidding.  Taking a flat piece of something hard, and rubbing against something that’s abrasive and harder doesn’t exactly take a genius, nor does it require any tools unless they want to get fancy.

2:48 – “BRO” is right 🤣.  Looks like something from Anime.

Thoughts?  Obviously a lot of parallels between this war on knives in the UK and gun control in the US.  Both seem incredibly futile  for the same reason.. because they focus on the knife/gun, not the root of the issue which is the human component.

This has all been going on for quite some time now.. I’m reminded of a post I did way back in 2009 about UK Knife Surrender bins.

Looks like some funny gun related scenes in this movie. That said, i’m so sick of the continued flood of zombie content.  It all ends up basically being the exact same.

Thoughts?

Ugh what can I say about Britney Spears that’s hasn’t already been said about herpes:

There was some controversy in London where it was filmed.   Not because the song and video is a piece of shit, but because of the gun use in it (huge surprise).

The amount of product placement in the video is astonishing.   What a complex story line too… boyfriend is a dick and gets punched out by a “criminal” (obligatory greasy hair, knuckle tattoos, huge back; neck and chest tattoos) who Britney decides to shack up with.

SHTF in the UK… people are forced to protect themselves with the equivalent of a stick:

Sales of baseball bats and batons have shot up more than 5,000 percent in the last 24 hours on Amazon’s British website, as London suffered its worst violent unrest in decades.

If I ever lived in a place lame enough to not allow guns, i’d probably use my Cold Steel Brooklyn Smasher bat.

Some Eye candy:

Those riots make the fairly recent hockey riots in Vancouver Canada look weak.   Your move Canada…

Question: Do fans in the UK have blades?  Or is there some sort of safe UK fan that uses not sharp paddles to move the air instead? Do they all use those Dyson fans with internal blades? :P

Canadian tourist Ken Lloyd bought the nine-inch model soldier holding a replica SA80 rifle during a visit to the Royal Signals Museum at Blandford Camp, Dorset.

But when he tried to take the #135 keepsake through Gatwick Airport in his hand luggage it triggered a security alert at the scanners.

Officials declared the moulded gun could not go on the plane because it was a ‘firearm’.

*Phew* Thank god they’re paying attention in London. God knows what could have happened on that flight.

Laser guns will replace traditional air pistols in the modern pentathlon at the 2012 London Olympics after a successful trial at the inaugural Youth Olympics.  The technology will reduce the cost of the shooting element of the five-event sport by two thirds, while the improved safety could mean new venues are used.

*Snore* Just when I thought the Olympics couldn’t get any more boring.  At least traditional pellets were susceptible to wind, gravity, etc…

Wake me up when the fencing event using lightsabers, or the current pentathlon guns have their power cranked to blow shit up.
