A 21st century boot for high-speed operators. The lightweight Nike SFB Men’s Boot was engineered to the specifications and needs of global first responder professionals, including: military, rescue and law enforcement. As the lightest, fastest-drying, highest mobility performance boot we’ve ever made, the SFB offers superior comfort for extended wear, straight out of the box.

Just high-speed operators Nike? Not high-speed low drag operators that are in the primary all the time slaying bodies? …Or is that implied?

It seriously blows my mind that only ~37,000 people have seen the following video I quoted in the previous paragraph:

Probably one of my favorite videos on youtube.

But I digress…

Those Nike boots actually look pretty nice. If they are as comfortable and as well made as their shoes  sure they will be a huge hit.  For urban use though, i’ll be sticking with my usual white Air Force 1s.

I need to iron most of the clothing I own, and often take flack for it; I find this video especially hilarious:

After being kidnapped by terrorists, clothing designer Tony Starch builds a high-tech weapon of steel and steam. Realizing his calling as a superhero, he sets out to rid an unsuspecting world of crime and villainy.

Those kids did such a great job on that trailer. No word on if Ironing Man II will be coming out.

Ten years ago, John was involved in a near-fatal motorcycle wreck, leaving him 95 percent blind.  While some people may see John’s blindness as a handicap, through these doors he’s just another one of the guys.

John’s pistol is equipped with special sights, and he memorizes the locations of the targets. He’s shot in International Defensive Pistol Association, or IDPA matches, at ranges from Alaska to Ada, Paris, and Sherman, for more than a year.

Full Story – HERE

Good to see that his handicap isn’t stopping him from doing what he loves.

I am posting about this because it is self defense related.  Oakland California February 15, 2010 – 67 year old Thomas Bruso did everything possible to avoid confrontation, but still ended up having to take care of business because a guy just wouldn’t leave him alone.
