new jersey

Ridiculous.  What a dangerous place:

I get it… “laws are laws” and “ignorance of the law is no excuse”, but I really don’t see the point in ruining someones life over things like this.  I really hope that there are cops in New Jersey who low key tell people “I’m not supposed to do this but, please get back in your car immediately and drive out of NJ.  This is in your own best interest TRUST ME, having that handgun here is not good for your freedom”.  That would be nice.

Wat-memeThere are a lot of terrible stories about how NJ ruined people’s lives over minor gun stuff.  You might remember Brian Aitken’s story I blogged about a while back.  Luckily Brian ended up getting his sentence commuted… but even the fact he spent 1 minute in jail is insane.

This video would be funny if it was fiction:

*facepalm* what a mess.  The style of the video reminds me a lot of Penn & Teller’s Bullshit… good stuff.

Snitch on someone for carrying a gun – get a $1000 reward:

No conviction necessary? hahha man…

Are the taxes that high in NJ that you are only left with $500 if you snitch on someone?  That’s all Mayor Booker has got in his hand…

What do you guys think of this?  Ratting anyone out this weekend and spending the proceeds on ammunition and liquor?

Neighbors are seeking an apology from Camden police after a Friday night incident in which they say a dog was shot by officers who were carelessly firing on a street crowded with children.

The dog was killed around 9 p.m. Friday after officers responded to calls of a fight between teenagers in the Baldwin Run neighborhood of the city’s Rosedale section.

But neighbors are also concerned by what they said is an excessive use of force after bullet holes were found sprayed around the neighborhood. Shots went through through the walls and windows of a home four houses away and punched holes in several vehicles parked in nearby driveways.

Neighbors said they counted 33 rounds of bullets based on the police investigation on Saturday.

  1. There was a wandering dog, the police showed up
  2. The dog was a pitbull
  3. It’s name was capone
  4. Camden NJ is so gangsta that not even google street view goes there.

The conclusion is unsurprising.  Chances are the police are gonna get away with this one. Sad…

How were the police able to get that many shots off so quickly?  Are they using high capacity assault clips now? :P

Good news for the Colorado man convicted of illegally possessing two handguns in New Jersey.

Gov. Chris Christie commuted Aitken’s sentence, from seven years to time served, according to an order the governor signed today. (Source)

Glad to see common sense prevailed.
