oil

Mattv2099 working out the menu for his upcoming gun related restaurant:

Mattv2099-ENDO-Trollture-TrollingThat batter looked good… reminds me I need to make crepes again soon.  After seeing the video I likely won’t put .22 LR in them though… maybe I’ll try .50 BMG.  I figure since it’s centerfire it must be safer.

He got some good camera angles!  That’s A LOT of hot oil flying everywhere.  Glad he came out unscathed.

Was anyone else surprised at the results?

Products currently haunting my dreams:
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

The adapter is available – HERE (bottom of page)

$55 gets you the adapter which is the part you register with the ATF according to the website.  The oil filter is considered the removable expansion chamber.

Pretty cool as a novelty. Unfortunately there doesn’t appear to be any videos on YouTube of people using one of these things.

It’s too bad there wasn’t more specs on how to use it, and noise reduction info on the website.

It would be funny if the same company came out with a set of EXTREME hi-rise sights especially for this application. LOL

Not sure how many of you like rap, but as I mentioned before i’m a huge fan.  It’s pretty much all I listen to.

Talib Kweli and Hi-Tek (a.k.a. Reflection Eternal) are what I would refer to as “intelligent rap”, meaning the songs usually have a message, and the videos don’t just contain guns, girls, cars, and other eye candy.

Since this is a gun blog, I noticed this in their new video ‘Ballad Of The Black Gold’:

Looks like a compact model Glock… not sure what caliber.  The trigger discipline is nothing to write home about, but I still thought the idea of a Glock dripping in oil was a good visual in the context of the song.

For those that normally wouldn’t give rap a chance, I urge you to give the song a try. At the very least watch the video on mute.

If you’re still with me after that, and you are fiendin’ for more I urge you to check out Talib Kweli’s albums. The new album, Revolutions Per Minute, isn’t bad.. but if you really want to hear some classics check out Train of Thought or The Beautiful Struggle.   Another album I have to plug while I’m at it is Black Star … it is  in my top 10 favorite albums of all time.  On that album you get 13 tracks of both Talib Kweli and Mos Def, who some of you may know from his impressive movie career (IMDB Page)

Although I’m more of a fan of new cars than the classics, I definitely want this one:

For Thunderball, FMP 7B was fitted with the full complement of famous Bond ‘gadgets’ – by the Factory – that are seen onscreen, including machine guns, bullet-proof shield, revolving number plates, tracking device, removable roof panel, oil slick sprayer, nail spreader and smoke screen – all controlled from factory installed toggles and switches hidden in the center arm-rest.

The auction website – HERE

Well It looks like I have until October 27th of this to win Powerball and make this baby mine. It’s Probably for the best that I can’t afford something like this because i’d probably get arrested for using one of the on board weapons. :P

The guy that is selling it is going to get a pretty sweet return on his money, considering he only paid $12000 for the car in 1969. Awesome how the auction website says it was displayed IN his home… sounds like a cool guy.  The proceeds from the car are being donated to a UK crime prevention program.

According to the news so far, on April 20th the BP oil rig in the Gulf exploded.  Now since those rigs are inherently dangerous, I wasn’t really surprised by this and took it as an accident.

Then this from from Obama today:

  • Potentially getting the Department Of Defense to address the incident
  • Department of the interior is sending SWAT teams to the gulf to “inspect” all platforms and rigs

What the hell actually happened there, that the department of defense and SWAT teams would need to get involved? Smells fishy… I don’t like to don my tinfoil hat too often.. but I’m going to go out on a limb and question whether it was terrorism.  It definitely meets the criteria and M.O. of terrorists.

Wouldn’t be the first time we have been left in the dark when it comes to details.
