Holy crap that trailer is awesome. “Rolling Stones – Gimmie Shelter” fits nicely.

Or if you pick it up at your local store, make sure you’re getting the correct game… not a copy of Carl Of Duty: Black Cops the two names sound similar.

Maybe i’m getting old, but even playing Bond on the Wii (where the screen is always jerking around when you move your hand slightly) made me nauseous. I’ll probably puke for sure when playing something similar like this in 3D.

The video is done for 3D stereoscopic glasses (red blue). The final game will likely use the more expensive type of glasses that come with 3D TVs. Which reminds me, I haven’t had a pair of those red/blue glasses since I quit buying comic books and cereal.

I’m a huge fan of integrating guns into design of otherwise mundane household items, so this piqued my interest:

From AR15.com:

First off everything you see on the lamp is real AR 15 parts with the exception of the barrel.
The base is 1/2″ aluminum type II hard coat anodized black and then color filled white, the feet are .50 caliber shell cases compliments of FiftyCalAl.

As of today, all Marines can now access popular social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter and YouTube at work, and they don’t even have to apply for a waiver to do so.

Sounds like a terrible idea.  The USMC must be incredibly confident in the security of their networks, and the integrity of their employees. Either that, or the Sergent Majors now think they need social networking access, so in turn everyone gets it.

I feel for those men and women, who before today were disconnected from the world as the rest of us know it… but knowing the nature of the internet and the risks that come with it, I think everyone would be a lot safer with the old rules.

I foresee a shitstorm very soon when OPSEC is compromised on a regular basis because of this new loose policy.

I thought this video deserved its own post, because of its awesomeness.  I can’t imagine anything cooler than shooting at things out of a helicopter.

The DVD comes out in February.

The National Security Agency (NSA) defines OPSEC as:

OPSECOperations Security – The process of denying potential adversaries any information about capabilities and/or intentions by identifying, controlling, and protecting generally unclassified evidence of the planning and execution of sensitive activities. – Source

People on internet forums love acronyms, and this one takes the cake.  What better way to show your fellow forum members  your superiority and lack of “proof” to back up a claim, than to call an audible when someone posts “Pics or it isn’t true!“. Your response? “OPSEC”.

Here are a couple of pictures poking fun at OPSEC:
