If he shifted any more weight to his rear foot he probably would have pulled the trigger and fell over.

The video is apparently from the Bi-Annual Knob Creek Machine Gun shoot in West Point Kentucky.

It’s hard to tell from the video, but the gun appears to be a suppressed MAC-10 or M-11 (chambered in 9mm as the description says).  The AR-15 stock kit is a nice touch.

I don’t follow politics at all, but Rand Paul seems to be every bit as interesting as his father.

It would probably be a cold day in hell if we ever got something similar in the U.S..  The off chance that that ever happens here, I’d send Paul Helmke from the Brady Campaign a friendly letter wishing him well in his futile efforts.

He said he believed his finger was outside the trigger guard and not resting on the trigger.

Classic line which is said by most negligent discharge bozos.  Has the “blame it on the gun” angle ever worked? Looks like he got proven wrong by the pictures they managed to recover anyway.

Oh Jeff Cooper… why can’t you have influenced EVERYONE in your short time on this earth?

What a shame that a young girl is dead all because of poor gun handling. To top it off, her boyfriend who killed her only gets 3 years and 4 months in jail? WTF?  I am not entirely familiar with the minimum prison term for manslaughter in the United States, but I hope it is a lot more severe than that.

Thank got at least he got what he did. There is a video on the page I linked where it says that a “range of sentencing options are being considered including a home detention.”  Wow…. so this guy kills someone and there was actually consideration in sentencing him to stay in his comfortable home rather than jail?

He put her in his car and took her to a medical centre but refused to give a statement to police for three days.

That’s pretty shady too, but maybe he was advised on that by a lawyer.

And boy did they get torn a new one on facebook.

The ad was created by T.D. Mischke, a Minnesota writer, musician, and talk show host, and published without the approval of  R.F. Moeller.  The facebook page contains a couple letter of apologies and backpedaling by both parties.  I supposed they both learned valuable lessons.

The R.F. Moeller website appears to be down.

I have been to their Nicollet Mall and France Ave. loactions numerous times, but I ended up buying my last two watches at Wixon Jewelers because I found the customer service to be far better.

Roanoke, Virginia – A J.C. Penney security guard followed a shoplifting suspect to the mall parking lot and fired a single shot in an effort to stop him. The man was detained until police arrived. (Source)

No word on whether the Segway sustained any damage. :P

A definitely case of Paul Blart Syndrome.

Why the heck does a mall security guard have a gun anyway?  I didn’t think mall security had guns anywhere in the country.  My guess is it was probably his personal weapon which he carried regardless of his employer’s rules.

He likely caused a shitstorm of problems for himself, all because he was too proud to let some scumbag take some insured goods that were not even his.  Was it really worth it?
