Prepper dave

Dave gives us the lowdown:

If you don’t talk about prepping, people will assume you’re not prepared. *taps head meme*

It really is crazy how much water you need daily when you’re cooking and keeping hydrated.  I didn’t really realize this before I started backpacking for several days at a time.

6:23 – haha I knew the gun part of the video was coming towards the end.

The homie Prepper Dave WENT IN:

I actually dropped in when Dave was premiering this video LIVE on YouTube.  I’ve actually never seen that “Premiere LIVE” thing up before.  Pretty cool actually, there was a live chat and everything.  A guy name Berettian said hi to me and said he was wearing his No Right To Bear Arms t-shirt, so that was flattering.  Always nice to hear and see ENDO shirts in use.

I fired up Breaking Bad on Netflix recently just to see what it looks like on the new TV in 4K.  Prepper Dave definitely gives me ASAC Schrader vibes.

Thoughts? I’m really impressed with Prepper Dave’s production value, his vid thumbnails, script, and everything. My immediate prejudice is that old guys wouldn’t be able to produce such high quality content, but I am proven wrong.

This all needed to be said haha:

Politics really aren’t something I spend a lot of time on, but wow is this election ever cringe.

As Dave says… the greyman theory = hiding in plain sight.  Note that typically people who think they are EXTREMELY grayman, are the biggest tactical peacocks out there.

Part 1 can be found here.

3:06 – ahhaha his little dog trio is the greatest.

3:27 – I knew Dave was either going to be a Jeep boi or a Tacoma boy.  There was no doubt in my mind.

hahah all solid advice as usual.

Dave lays the plan out:

😂 good stuff.  Makes me want to get started on an ACB (Ain’t Comin Back) bag.

4:31 – Did he say “High Sierra”? 😤 I’m Gregory / Arcteryx / Osprey gang.

4:58 – HIS SIDEKICK CARL! 😂 Amazing.

5:36 – The filters are really legit.  We carry Katadyn filters on hikes now, and although I carry enough water to never run out on a day hike, we have obviously had to filter water daily on multi-day hikes and they work like a charm.

6:04 – I’m liking this guy more and more… the Mountain House shoutout had me nodding my head.  I am actually surprised how good backpacking meals are.  Sure, each brand has some that I wouldn’t choose… but once you find some you like, meals out in the wild are definitely something to look forward to.

6:40 – The .22LR for him and Carl is a good choice.
