Even as the boy he was the boy already:
LOL I love this kid. I wish he wouldn’t split up vids so much though… build the damn thing and use it already!

COMMENTRoyalNonesuch risking life and limb once again:
Well despite the fact I cringed when his safety measures appeared to be a hat, adidas hoody, work gloves, gas station sunglasses, and some cheap ear plugs, nothing scary happened in this case. Beats Hawaiian shirt and earbud earphones (his usual safety equipment) haha.
2:51 – The reason for doing this is to save himself some cleanup (hopefully) because black powder guns get REALLY dirty.
A bunch of people are scolding him in the comments for various obvious reasons.

COMMENTMore tomfoolery from RoyalNonesuch:
For not having sights on that thing, he’s pretty good with it. Shirt game, royal.
7:25 – haha the imprint of the head stamps is awesome.
9:17 – Crazy stuff happens sometime when you’re shooting. That inside out shell is awesome!
I really wish there weren’t potential legal issues stemming from his build vids.. those were epic.
Royal Nonesuch back at it with the DIY… this time in the protection field:
As expected, one hit was pretty much the threshold for ceramic.
People were making some good suggestions in the comments to line-x truck bedliner some plates together with an AR500 steel outer plate. I don’t see why that wouldn’t work. We know damn well that those nice looking “armor inserts” companies are selling for plate carriers are just cosmetically beautified easily obtainable materials like mentioned above.
That metal he used (plywood sheathing) was definitely as good as nothing. Dude isn’t making dragon skin (hehe pictured left) yet… but Id give him some time and he’ll come up with a nice homebrew option like he always does.

Everyone’s favorite homebrew ninja Royal Nonesuch on the topic:
At almost 28 minutes, he’s still a long way from Nutnfancy territory… but still, seeing as it’s 1:30 am here right now I was thinking to myself THIS BETTER BE GOOD. There was no reason to expect Royal Nonesuch would disappoint, and thankfully he didn’t. He’s a natural in front of the camera and shares a bunch of good stories. I know a lot of you guys are trying to run the clock out at work on a Friday, so plug those earphones in and relax.
One thing that worries me, is he has some anecdotes and videos thought out, which would suggest he should take all of our advice AND WEAR PROPER EAR AND EYE PRO. But yet he continues not to.
Royal Nonesuch has definitely come a long way from his early designs. As long as he stays safe and legal I can’t wait to see what he comes up with in the future.
I think it’s smart he doesn’t want to do “build videos”. Sucks for the community, but I think it’s a good move for him personally.

Royal Nonesuch experiments with shirt prints and cut shotgun shells:
Cool, worked as expected. The operational Skittles banded to the stock were a nice touch.
If you remember Barry and Eric from IV8888 did a segment on cut shells, and additionally ABsuperman did a hilarious cut shotgun shells video where he screamed the whole time LOL.
I don’t remember if any of the videos mentioned any danger in this… is there any? I can’t imagine much could go wrong.
