A ballet for men is a ballet with Tanks. “The Invincible and the Legendary,” a theatrical performance directed by the president of the national ballet academia (which includes the world-famous Bolshoi Theater), debuted at The First International Forum Engineering Technologies 2010. It featured “dancing” tanks in a coordinated, and often, bizarre display.

Researchers at the University of South Carolina, collaborating with others from China and Switzerland, drastically increased the toughness of a T-shirt by combining the carbon in the shirt’s cotton with boron – the third hardest material on earth. The result is a lightweight shirt reinforced with boron carbide, the same material used to protect tanks.

Pretty cool, although even if the bullet could no long go “through” you, you’d still die from having your shirt pushed a few inches into your chest. Damn that would be painful!
