The Walking Dead – Season 4 Preview

Looks like it should be good:

Come to think of it, I don’t even know for sure if I finished season 3… I’ll have to go back and check.  I don’t recognize some of those characters that’s for sure.  Good to see they got D’Angelo Barksdale from the wire… I like that guy.  They already had Cutty in the mix! I’m holding out for Stringer Bell… dude was badass.

The-Walking-Dead-AMC-ZombiesThe show is turning into a real soap opera that’s for sure.  All these kinds of shows do that eventually though.

The first episode of Season 4 will premiere Sunday October 13.

Chiappa Triple Barrel Shotgun – You Come At King You Best Not Miss

Oh yeeeeeeeeeah:

A lot of hip shots in this video. If it’s so comfortable to shoot as they say at 1:05, then why don’t we see any real shooting with it?

I want to get one of these and OC through the the hood on some straight Omar shit whistling farmer in the dell and dropping witty lines. I got the shotgun… you got the briefcase. It’s all in the game though right? A double glock, double deagle, and double 1911 are necessary firearms to have in the collection with this one.

What’s the point of 3 different chokes?  Maximum damage and spread?  Sounds kinda derpy.

Despite the fact the shotgun will be apparently available in January 2013, there is no mention of it on the Chiappa website.  Typical.

Thoughts?  

P.S. The cheese stands alone.

The Lego Wire

The attention to detail in this is awesome:

Unless you just started following the blog, you know how obsessed I am with HBO’s The Wire.  

Every time I see a stop motion animation video, I still can hardly believe how much time it must take.  This vid was even better than The Wire Musical I posted about a few weeks ago.

I can’t stress enough, that if you haven’t seen The Wire… you need to get on that.

Blue Bloods On Gun Safety

I like the normal 4 rules… but I’m not going to complain. Frankly I’m happy to see anything positive about guns or self defense on a mainstream tvshow.

The self defense talk, and the telling the mom to chill out “It’s fine”, not “OMG guns! Run for cover! Call the police!” was awesome.  Also:

The biggest mistake we could make, is pretending my gun does not exist in this house.

I like this writer.  Will I check the show out?  Possibly, now that it’s on my radar and I see all the episodes are up on amazon instant video.  Don’t forget that stuff is free for Amazon prime members.  I’m assuming i’ll probably just be disappointed because i’ll be comparing it to The Wire which is also up on Amazon for free (if you have Prime). Tom Selleck’s mustache appears to deliver (as expected) by the look of the promo shots, so that’s a good sign.
