Look out school bullies… there’s a new line of defense available for nerds:

Joerg Sprave is so awesome.  I’m really surprised he hasn’t quite his day job yet and made these things full time.  If he was able to get the design a bit more polished, and more conducive to injection molding he would be able to sell millions of them.  What kid wouldn’t want a gun like that?  I suppose it would be the parents that would be the issue…

Towards the end when he glued the arrow field top to the pencil… that was awesome.

Keep your eyes on the front sight:

Probably legal in the UK.  I’m sure these will sell like hotcakes there, you just have to remember to aim for the criminal’s face where it will sting the most.

Neat idea!  I’m surprised I never thought of this back in elementary school when we used to have Elastic band wars daily.

Maybe i’ll get a platinum wedding ring with a front sight on it someday? :P

I’m looking forward to the future design that incorporates a tritium powered red-dot with magnification.

You have to make the back story up for this one in your head:

I like that it has a dark twist to it… most fake gun battles are sickeningly playful.

NERF Mortars huh?  *madly scribbles it on to do list*

Before making a video with toy guns, people should learn a thing or two from the Kids, Guns & Special Effects music video I posted about earlier in the year.  To date, that is the most epic video of such a type that i’ve come across.

It’s actually custom made from a G.I. Joe action figure.

Providence, RI – Malik Hall, a round-eyed second-grader, looked apprehensive as he stood in line with his favorite toy, a thick, blue gun with plastic sword underneath the muzzle. The 8-year-old was furious when his mother, Amanda, told him he would have to give it up. Yesterday morning, he tried to hide it under his pillow, she said.

“I’m worried,’’ she said. “He might cry.’’

But when it was his turn, Malik strode dry-eyed and with quiet dignity to the Bash-O-Matic and fed it the gun. When his mother approached, he said nothing.

That is just cold blooded. How that is even allowed is beyond me…

It will be interesting to see how kids that get everything “dangerous” taken away from them will turn out. My guess is drug use and violence will be at an all time high, which would be pretty ironic.
