John Wick 3 Trailer

Look good as usual:

Unsurprisingly the formula seems to be the same as John Wick 1 and 2.  Should be entertaining as usual, because Keanu is a badass and the locations are always top knotch.  Parabellum has a such a nice ring to it, I’m surprised no one else has used that word recently for a movie or show since the translation from Latin is “prepare for war”.  You might be more familiar with the full “si vis pacem para bellum” meaning “If you want peace, prepare for war”… it’s part of the starter kit all piehitters are given which includes the necessary patches to put on their 5.11 backpacks, and stickers to put on their Jeeps.

In Theaters May 17.  Whoa I can’t believe this isn’t out by now, I feel like I saw the shots of Keanu filming on a horse a long time ago (turns out that was last August).

Thoughts? Are you seeing this one in the theaters?

War Machine Trailer

Hmmm I’m not buying that gravely voice Brad Pitt is trying to do.  I don’t really know what to think about the movie from that trailer, but the subject matter seems up my alley so I’ll likely watch it regardless.

On Netflix May 26th.  Pretty wild that Netflix produces such high budget stuff now.  I love it.

The Magnificent Seven Movie Looking Promising

Yooooooo:

0:15 – Had me at Denzel.  I didn’t even need to see the rest of the trailer to know I wanted to see this movie.

0:44 – OH lawwwwwwd Same director as Training Day.

0:50 – I like Andy Dwyer and Ethan Hawke too.

magnificent-seven0:57 – damn a crank gatling gun!  This trailer is really delivering.

Oh yea I want to see this.  In case you didn’t already know, it’s a remake of the 1960 movie by the same name, starring Steve McQueen, Charles Bronson etc…

Thoughts?  You catching this one in the theater.

Deadpool Trailer 2

Marvel-Deadpool-Spent-Shell-Casings-ArtOhhh yeaaaaaa this movie looks awesome. Definitely have to see it in the theater sometime soon after Feb 12 when it’s released.

What Caliber For Giant Man Eating Japanese Human Monsters?

A trailer for the movie Attack On Titan:

By the looks of the trailer, they mainly like to get up close and personal with the sword work.  Cool.  I’m sure there are plenty of guns in the movie as well.  Anime is so crazy.  It’s like nightmare material, and this is no exception.  Did you see those creepy grins?

This movie definitely isn’t high on my list of ones to see in a theater, but I’m definitely not sleeping on it once I can watch it at home.

Attack-On-TitanSomeone tell me the graphic novel series is a “must read”…. or nah?  Looking at the wikipedia page it must be good, because I see it put up some serious number (45 million volumes in print!).

Sicario – Trailer

Cartels gonna cartel:

Intennnnnnnnse!  I can’t pinpoint why for certain, but I’m not a big fan of Emily Blunt.  I think it’s maybe because she is the same way in EVERY movie she’s in.

I really like cartel related movies.  The Schwarzenegger one called “Sabotage” was pretty decent, but I’d have to say the best one I’ve seen in the past couple years has to go to “End of Watch“… that movie was awesome.

sicaro-movie-posterI know I’ve mentioned this before, but Mexico officially scares the shit out of me.  I don’t plan on going back.  I managed not to be murdered, die of alcohol poisoning or food poisoning the first time on spring break, I think it’s asking too much to have that happen again.

Sicaro will be in theaters Sept 2015.
