Sweet arsenal bro *eye roll*:

George-Zimmerman-Weapons-Gun-Arsenal

You can watch the Nancy Grace yelling about it here if you have a strong stomach.

Nancy Grace’s voice makes me want to throw up.  So an arsenal is 100+ rounds of ammunition and 5 guns?  hahah cool.

I still have no use for Zimmerman, but he was found not guilty so I wish everyone would just leave him alone so he could fade back into obscurity.

VICE takes a look at weapons that can be built after TSA security checkpoints:

HowTerroristsGetInUnsurprising, but scary.  Until they make us all fly naked, without any carry on items there is always going to be things bad people “could” do. As always though, I’d rather just get rid of those bad people early on so the rest of us can be free. Limiting the freedom of the masses because of a few idiots, is an obnoxious way to run a country.

The guy in the video, Evan Booth has a website called Terminal Cornucopia and a YouTube channel with lots of videos for you to check out if you’re interested.

5 copies of this great book up for grabs:

Self-Defense-Laws-Of-All-50-States

If you carry a weapon for self-defense, it’s definitely in your best interest to know the laws.  A simple purchase such as this book could keep your ass out of jail and save you a whole lot of money someday.

Attorney Mitch Vilos and Evan Vilos teamed up and went to great efforts to make sure that this comprehensive book is both clear and reliable.   The fact it’s written in plain easy to understand english (not loaded with fancy legal jargon), and even contains light humor here and there make it way more enjoyable than you would expect a book on law to be.

Make sure and enter the giveaway below, but know that you can also head over to the Firearms Law website and pick one up for $29.95 at any time.  A book such as this would make a great gift!

How To Enter (U.S. Residents Only):

  1. In the comments below I want to know what state you live in.
  2. What you like or dislike about your state when it comes to shooting / firearms.

I am also simultaneously giving away 5 more copies of the book on Instagram where all you have to do is follow me and “like” the picture.  Yea I know not all you are hipsters and have Instagram but you should get it for this reason alone.

Thanks everyone, and good luck!  The draw for these 10 books will be made on Friday night, and results posted on the weekend.

Old but good:

Quotable quotes:

Sigourney Weaver (3:50) – “It’s actually hard for me morally to justify being in a film with so many guns.  I just find it very upsetting… I give money to anti-gun legislation.  I don’t even go see movies about guns.”  She goes on and on it part 2 also, but I won’t bother quoting it, and she even admits liking shooting.

Bill Paxton (4:25) – “I love shooting the guns, it’s like the best part of my job”

Al Matthews (6:00) – “I suffer from the Vietnam syndrome.  If you point a gun at me I’m going to shove it down your throat, I’m sorry to say that…. everyone’s instinct is automatically to put their fingers on the trigger, well they stopped doing that on the set with me because I don’t have it.  I really don’t have it… it’s an instinct.  That’s the way I always trained, thank you very much America.  That’s how I was trained, if you put your finger on the trigger while your talking or waving your weapon around I’m going to jam it down your throat, I gotta do that.”

Pulse-Rifle-m41A^ Dude keeps it mad real.

A long time ago I posted that someone built their own replica of the M41A Pulse Rifle using an M1 Thompson submachine gun with a Remington 870 shotgun underneath with the shroud and foregrip of a SPAS 12 covering it. Cool stuff.

By designer Daniel Nyari:

If you want a print of this picture to frame, they are available HERE.

There is a legend at the bottom of the picture that is barely readable.  If you don’t know what one of them is, zoom in with your browser and try to read it.

Crazy slingshot guy Joerg Sprave gives it a go:

Pepper spray from old chili powder, bolas from cat food cans and batteries, and even a full blown crossbow from a broom handle and old kitchen gloves.

The video is a bit longer and slower than some of his others… but still interesting to see what he can do.

I still prefer firearms, but getting hit with any one of those would obviously hurt and/or incapacitate a person.
