Famous Pop Culture Weapons

By designer Daniel Nyari:

If you want a print of this picture to frame, they are available HERE.

There is a legend at the bottom of the picture that is barely readable.  If you don’t know what one of them is, zoom in with your browser and try to read it.

Cool style, but it’s missing quite a few mandatory pieces to truly qualify as a pop-culture weapons list. Robocop’s Auto-9, the Pulse Rifle from Aliens, Deckard’s blaster from Bladerunner, Rambo’s knife, and of course, Dirty Harry’s .44 to name a few.

Agreed. These are mostly video game related. Probably would have been better as a series. Do one for video games, one for movies, and one for comic books maybe.

I’d swap the katana, broadsword, baton, and army looking knife for any of the ones I’ve mentioned. I can’t zoom in at a high enough res to read where those are from, but they’re too generic a design IMO to read as something from a specific property without an ID legend.

How about 47′s silverballers/hardballers, and a Colt SAA from all the cowboy movies and lone ranger

The flag is in that print is wrong. The union always goes in the upper left hand corner. I am no longer surprised by people making this mistake.

I think it looks fine considering the subject of the print.

Cheers for him putting the compressed air punch from No Country For Old Men, but he should have added the shotgun. Other obligations he failed to meet:

Adventure Time sword
Chainsaw hand and boom stick unless that’s what his chainsaw is
Ultimate Nullifier
Sonic screwdriver
any Metal Gear Solid reference
