Detroit New Year’s Eve Gunfire

Detroit gonna Detroit:

Two paramedics sit in their broken down ambulance as shots ring out all around them.

That’s some scary stuff right there.

  1. Holy crap, why doesn’t Cabelas or something sell blanks (all modern calibers) en masse for new years!?

Blanks are NOT good in guns.
      Blanks can kill
Blanks make you think it’s safe, when its not.

Also, blanks do not cycle in weapons with-out muzzle adapters.

Blanks CAN kill and injure, actor John Eric-Hexum was killed with a blank gun.

        1. I’m not saying blanks don’t kill or make anyone feel “safe”.
Don’t assume I’m saying that. However, until I see a PSA on “The more you know” about shooting your weapons into soil “for celebration”, I’ll suggest blanks.

I’m assuming the gunfire in the video wasn’t totally directed at someone or somethings other than the air, which is seriously problematic. Find a large back yard or open field, and let loose on the ground. Digging dirt is a lot safer than doing what militant Arabs do with insane full auto bursts straight up.

  2. is just me or did that reporter seem a little disheartened

  3. Of course the criminals can keep there guns and the law abiding citizens cant. Uh and that was definitely NOT automatic gunfire.

  4. They apparently hire homeless Vietnam vets to do their investigative reporting in Detroit.

  5. Reporter needs a haircut…..
    What do they expect?
Their social welfare experiment has not worked for the last 50 yrs..

  6. First thought was Robocop (naturally), but then I remembered the reporter in Predator 2;

  7. OBVIOUSLY not automatic gun fire.
And I agree with jeff, vhyrus and everybody else
apparently homeless bums with attitude run the news these days…at least in Detroit

    1. I was gonna make a rude snipe on the “automatic gunfire” statement. Ignorant anti-gun news flairs around terms some more to make people think guns are the problem is how I perceive it.

  8. Literally reminds me of gunfire in Iraq. Not amused.

    1. I thought it sounded like a war zone too. I’d be horribly upset if I were in those guys’ positions. How do you even begin to fix a situation that bad? I can think of nothing short of Martial Law and National Guard occupation. God knows there’s enough bullets flying to warrant it.

  9. 20 years ago, I heard someone say “Detroit – where the weak are killed and eaten”. Even more true today.

      hahaha that was entertaining.

  10. I’ll use a quote that stuck with me from a formerly very popular Twitter feed called “Sh!t my Dad says.” In response to a Detroit sports team winning a game:

“Good, they deserve it. I was there once and it’s like God took a sh!t on a parking lot.”

That would be funny if it was so sadly true.
