Gunny Signature Clothing From Tru-Spec

R. Lee Ermey got a new gig.  Not his best acting work:

You can check out the gunny signature line over at TRU-SPEC.

The shirt and backpack look alright, I don’t like the hat or vest, and I’m not into tactical pants though.

I love people think they are sneaky grey men when they wear tactical vests.

Thoughts?

The vigilant Spectre derps nut in their pants when they see gunny endorsed their costumes

  3. That was like watching a 4 am informercial…

  4. That is a Voodoo Tactical pack rebranded, Just bought one at NTOA and it is just the same, but I guess it costs a little more with Gunny’s name on it.
Just like the Rebranded UTG stuff that 5.11 sells for more than double the original price.
Guess it makes sense, just because you make pants does not mean you can sew a pack, smarter to farm it out to someone that already has them in their line.

    cough SELL OUT cough

  6. Gunny is really a great guy, but come on, SELL OUT, now, he has only been promoting himself from the git go, SOG, Glock et all. That being said, he does a lot of good for many charities, the NRA. He was nice enough to do the intro for my companies SHOT Show vid, http://youtu.be/0vC47FZTxJE ( I am the big fat ass standing next to him they wisely cropped mostly out in post)
He is an actor that targets the gun market.

If this guy loves the cream corn soo bad, why did he get out? I’ve met retired dudes who did 30+, and they didnt wear a Steve Erwin version of the 8point.

Nor did they dress so retarded. He looks like somekind of range hobbit that hangs around gunsite all day looking for Jeff Cooper’s old brass to add to his shrine or something. Why does team Glock hire Non-talent?

  8. Ermey seems like a straight shooter. He genuinely likes the stuff. Despite the obvious hyperbole. So delighted he’s examined “everything known to man” about gear.

But I gotta tell ya, it amazes me how he wouldn’t be proud to serve a country that spends it’s freedom helping those less fortunate, building schools and infrastructure and protecting civil rights instead of pouring buckets of blood into the sand. I trust his judgment on tactical gear. I question his politics. I mean, when Churchill was told he would have to close schools, the arts and aid for the disenfranchised to sustain the war effort, he said “Then what are we fighting for? They’ve won.”
