Guns & Religion – WWBYD?

What Would Buck Yeager Do indeed…

Buck Yeager talks to the good reverend.  I’ve got to wonder what a religious man like that thinks about Buck Yeager’s threat to murder anyone who called him a coward?  I seem to recall a commandment “Thou shalt not kill”… which I’m assuming most people would say relates specifically to unjustifiable homicide.  Maybe the reverend didn’t see the Yeager threat vid?

James-Yeager-Angel-Approved

5:02 – “God’s law supersedes man’s law” – Excuse me while I scour the bible for talk about suppressors, short barreled rifles, and destructive devices.

Thoughts?

Yeager is such a hypocritical asshole with that condescending laugh and attitude. That pastor seems like a decent person.

I think you’re correct, Mike: Most scholars accept that the verse in the Bible (Torah or Tawrat) referring to “Thou shalt not kill” is intended to apply to “murder.” Ratsach (the word used) means to slay, but the rest of the Mosaic Law is clear and shores up the intention of the text in that killing for self-defense and defense of innocents is acceptable when necessary.

tl;dr
So I only watched the 1st 30 seconds, and am not motived enough to listen to a senile old man and a sociopath talk about a mystical sky fairy. But Yeager does says that he doesnt go to church. So why the hell is he rambling on about religion?

Please don’t say “totes groovy”, even ironically.

Why didnt the good Reverend just say that cults are Mormon? “Whats a cult reverend?” “Mormons… Mormons are a cult. All the Mormons are evil cult members.”

Render unto ceaser what is ceaser’s, and unto God what is God’s.

That pretty much covers God’s law vs Man’s law.

Of course he was talking about taxes. Jesus was pretty pointed about self defense. In Luke he says… If a man does not have a sword, he should sell his cloak and buy one. This was about self defense, not revolution, but it’s pretty evident that both parts of the bible had no issue with returning violence against you with violence.

Yeah…….what was the whole point behind the cult thing? I feel like it was directed at Mormons like croppedxout said. It had nothing to do with the actual subject of how religion played a major part in the founding of America and the Constitution. As a Mormon that just makes me really angry at Yeager, if he wants to say something just say it don’t beat around the bush.

Oh, and for one I don’t belong to a cult.

Between fundamentalist intolerance on once side, and smirking atheists on the other. I feel for you man. I couldn’t watch five seconds of this. I clicked at about the 1/3 mark, the 2/3 mark and was done.

He’s a boil. A puss-filled boil. A two-legged puss-filled boil. On steroids.

God’s law supersedes man’s law.

Well, this more or less speaks that the Bible emphasized individual freedom (essentially, Locke’s natural rights), and that these natural rights supersede any law that is contrary to those rights. It is also said in the Bible that the law of the land prevails over God’s law, but again, natural rights are the litmus test as to whether to follow man’s law or God’s law (natural law). Biblically-speaking, Jesus was for the populace being armed (“sell your cloak and buy a sword”, Luke 22:36), and while Jesus spoke of nonviolence, His stance was not one of letting aggressors kill you and other innocents.

Why is this and I quote Farmerjoe “He’s a boil. A puss-filled boil. A two-legged puss-filled boil. On steroids”, coward even given the light of day on blog sites? He is a waste of skin and organs that someone in this world could make use of.

JwB, I wish I could tell you. My grandfather used to tell me “you’re known by the company you keep”. Any rational person wouldn’t want to be caught dead on video with Bucky. If it weren’t for people mocking him, I doubt Bucky would get as much play as he does.

The level of ignorance around here is exceeded only by the lack of content. Seriously, please get some new material…we’re all very clear where you stand on Yeager and are bored with the repetition.

Are you being held captive with your eyes wired open infront of a computer, forced to look at everything Buck Yeager related that I post? If so, I’ll send operators to help.

Clearly you’ve missed the irony of your response.

I just don’t get why you have such a hard-on for him.

Speak for yourself, Stephen. I enjoy exposing this fraud. Get off the Brakes Yeager is fucking stupid and deserves incessant ridicule.

Aye, it’s gotten stale. It’s the nature of blogs to regurgitate content that others have generated, but the better blogs draw from divers sources. If I had that big a hardon for Yeager I’d just subscribe to his YouTube channel myself.
