Syrian Muzzle Rise

The LOLs start at around 45 seconds:

sammy-davis-jrI don’t know if those are the good guys or the bad guys, or if there are good guys are bad guys in relation to us.  I don’t really care, It’s just funny to see that people find shit like what’s in the video universally hilarious.

I can’t even fathom the amount of wasted ammo over there with those jokers.

Live leak really grinds my gears.  I couldn’t find the video on YouTube though.

Thoughts?

Looks like some sort of jerry-rigged Rusky 23MM or maybe even a 30mm.

Not quite as good as the Saudis (I think) with the 550 T-Rex at the range, but also not as staged.

Yea that was incredible. Nothing beats foreign rednecks for entertainment value.

Next version will probably use a wireless PlayStation controller. :)

How many Syrians does it take to fire an AA? 6 to cock it, and 1 to break it. It looked like he might have been limp wristing it.

It’s probably mounted at center-of-balance, which is sensible engineering if you don’t take recoil into account. Hell, it’s sensible if you’re just trying to figure out how to get a guy to be able to swing it around. If they had only welded ears up around either side of the receiver and made the axis of elevation inline with the bore, it would work perfectly. As it is, they need to pull it way back on that pintle mount, which would make it hard to swing around in that truck bed.
