Two Fingers Per Glock Trigger

Lessons on recoil management and target acquisition from an ad for the TV show Sleepy Hollow:

You can see it in his eyes… Ichabod be like “Oh shit, this is going to end up on the internet”.

If you draw a line down the sights, you’ll see that apparently her chin is doing the aiming.

OMG the Headless Horseman in Disney’s Legend of Sleepy Hollow scared the hell out of me when I was little.

Thoughts?  Be honest, are you going to practice your two finger trigger pull now?   Two is one, and one is none guiZe.

How are you gonna manage a two fingered glock trigger pull if it’s mounted to your AR on your trusty nautilus rotating rail?

That’s the N.Y.2 trigger spring combined with the + connector.^^

That’s what I was thinking.

The first finger is there to deflect bullets, arrows and/or headless horseman swords and axes. The second finger is of course the money maker. This shows how clearly HSLD she is and that we are not even close to her level, which I assume is at least 1,319 by now. I can’t wait to try this guarded fire control finger position at the range.

Worthy of mockery, but we’ve all seen MUCH worse from Hollywood. Like the Jack Bauer Teacup Weaver.

It’s actually a super secret method used to keep you from pulling your gun off target by using too much or too little finger on the trigger, just use both and it equals out!

She probably has one of those super-safe models with extra trigger resistance so it doesn’t go off in her purse. Drawback, she needs both hands to pull that trigger. And she spends so much time practicing her intuitive reflex shooting that she doesn’t need to use the sights. It’s Ninja-aiming.

Did you also know that CSI is fiction, and should not be watched for training purposes?

Double the trigger fingers, double the trigger control and speed!

If one is good, two are better. ..Right?

Pfff not enough to get me to stop watching the show. I was highly dubious when it started but their general eye for detail has been pretty fantastic. Ichabod throwing his glock away after the first shot because he doesn’t understand that pistols hold more than one round now, and then when he does try to go toe to toe with baddies he stands upright in a dueling stance while firing at them… it’s silly, it’s fun, it’s good.

Karpet November 8, 2013 at 11:44 am

Seconded. It is too much fun. Shouldn’t work but does.
Also, what the hell are they paying gun wranglers for? Are these actors just un-trainable?
