Using it to chop wood is dumb, but an Axe was actually a super prominent thing in the musket days Axes weight comes mostly from how it’s distributed so a Rifle with an Axe isn’t any more unwieldy than a Bayonet and Axes are better than Knives

and yet i would bet you have every attachment you can possibly fit on your rifles. laser, flashlight, range finder, scope, front handle grip and probably a bipod. So who’s having a mid life crisis? I think you are with so many attachments you can’t even see the gun.
If you put 4 on your quad rail handguard, then tie a rope to your stock, it doubles as a sweet grappling hook. I know climbing isn’t as operator as rappelling, but sometimes you have to ninja up things as well as down.
CarniK is operator enough to pull this off easily.
I actually came up with the same idea a while back. I guess I should cashed in on it! I’m kinda bummed I won’t be making money off people who are either morons who actually expect to use this or just folks who are going to wall mount it for the lulz. I bet airsoft guys will buy a shit ton of these. See, I have been tempted by the SJ hardware’s bayonet mount set for a remington 870 for ages. Even that has dubious utility.

You could use this in place of a bipod for a nice steady rest. Find a tree or stump and slam the axe blade into the wood. That’s some rock solid support right there. Then just wait until something happens to walk into your sight picture. Too bad you’d probably knock your scope out of zero while doing it…
