That should burn off your eyebrows…

SittingDown December 7, 2014 at 05:54 am

A drunk squirrel on LSD wearing a shredded coke can skirt while on fire could gnaw with greater skill than whatever did the “port job” on that abomination.

Needs trigger guard removal for full expert gunsmith treatment

ozwald December 7, 2014 at 09:18 pm

Dear Lord, please don’t tell me people actually do that.

Lolinski December 7, 2014 at 10:09 pm

Triggerguard removal is totally legit. For winter ops with gloves, to aid concealment and to be faster to draw (less to snag on).

Brian December 9, 2014 at 12:41 pm

Cool. Instead of snagging on the rounded guard you can now snag on the pointy trigger and shoot yourself.

That’s gotta be a sight in low light conditions! Could be useful for cooking shrimp.

Looks to me like this speaks to the ethics of the gun store selling it. Regardless of whether or not if the price is reduced to reflect the damage done, I would say that’s an unsafe firearm to own / sell / shoot / anything. I wouldn’t do any business with a place that would sell this. Write it off and make a “wall of shame” behind the counter.

And no, I didn’t read the entire forum so there.

Triple brutal porting.

Now he just needs to make it winter hunting friendly by hacksawing off the trigger guard. Then he will be ready to oper8!

Was that done with a round file? Props for persistence and enthusiasm I guess.

Just finished my first semester of machinist courses and I could have done better even if I was suffering from the flu. This just makes me sad. Is it bad I hear Sara McLaughlin singing when I see that photo? You know the same songs from the SPCA commercials.

GameChanger December 8, 2014 at 10:39 pm

When doing your own porting, it’s crucial to make each port a different size and then leave all metal shaving in creases and such!!

Brian December 9, 2014 at 12:42 pm

Are you sure they aren’t inspection windows so they can see if rounds are getting stuck in the chamber?

Ugh.. so hideous..

asterisk December 12, 2014 at 11:37 am

Ok, that ports are bad. Nobody’s disputing that. But why would they need to put the sight that far back on a rail-on-top-of-another-rail? There’s a rail built into the gun for chrissakes, why not use that to precariously hang your sight by just one mounting bracket?

HIerro8 August 30, 2019 at 09:53 am

could you please tell me what is the brand and model of that revolver….!!!!!
