You’re allowed an opinion, and if your opinion is that something “hurts” the progress of gun rights then that’s fine. Assuming you think that 4 year olds, paranoid psychotics in the midst of a violent hallucination, violent felons on the run, illegal aliens, and ISIS sleeper agents shouldn’t be allowed to buy a gun you support some sort of restriction (and presumably some sort of background check to make the determination). Does that mean that the Brady folks are right? Hell no, but you can’t reduce it to a pure us or them (except at the extremes).
Lots of folks may support more restrictions than you, and be wrong, but not be bad people or people who couldn’t be convinced, but if all they see representing the “one true gun culture” is this braying jackass and his ilk running their yaps they are more likely to stroke a check to Mike Bloomberg than come to the range.

I……well……..quite frankly agree with him. Gun owners tend to be their own worst enemy. They ALLOW the gov to just run them over…cali. One way to look at it, or find out where you stand….When someone asks “if they start banning guns what will you do”. If you say…..I will by 80% lowers and bury my weapons…….you are part of the gun community. If you respond…I want them to come and try……..then you are gun culture.
