Send Kyle Lamb To Somalia And See How He Does

This is too good.  What you’re looking at below is a Troy Industries ad featuring Kyle Lamb (Sergeant Major, Retired):

Troy-Battlemags-Kyle-Lamb

Here’s the caption from a recent Coalition To Stop Gun Violence facebook post:

More explicit marketing of military firepower to civilians, this time by Troy Industries. High-capacity ammunition magazines are indeed “battleready,” “battletested,” and “battleproven.” They were designed to rack up body counts in war.

You have to click the above link to read some comments… I’ll post a few screenshots below, but most of the ones on the facebook post are pure ignorance and pure gold.  Sometimes I swear it’s actually pro-gun people with fake accounts making these stupid comments just to make the anti-gun look even worse than they actually are.  Either way, it’s some funny shit.

Some comment highlights:

CSGV-Troy-Ad-Comment-2

CSGV-Troy-Ad-Comment-3

CSGV-Troy-Ad-Comment-4

Lots of discussion and more derpy screenshots on the Shall Not Be Questioned link at the bottom.  LOL I can’t even.

I love how CSGV can’t “lock down” posts on Facebook like they can on YouTube.  The results are always hilarious when there’s back and forth between both sides.

I get it though, the CSGV’s job is to vilify absolutely anything gun related.  The only moves they have are to talk about how much harm XXXXX poses to the general public, or how regular people don’t need YYYYY.  There’s really nothing else they can say.  It’s such a weak stance that crumbles when you draw parallels to things like motor vehicles deaths, smoking, obesity, prescription drugs, alcoholism etc.. but they just plug their ears and go *BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAGH* until you go away.

Thoughts?

Id participate but I think their magazines are junk.

Please state your credentials so that I can evaluate your opinion versus SGM Kyle Lamb.

How about that IV8888 magazine torture test? The Battlemag didn’t make it past the first round.

BlazingZer0 March 12, 2015 at 06:59 pm

I bought a few mags and out of three different guns(Sig M400, DDMK18 and RRA Varminter) and once or twice per mag the bolt would just run right over the next round and ruin it also just like kosherbacon i broke one magazine trying to change the floorplate.

As much as I like Kyle Lamb hes now just a paid spokesman. Glad they G’d him up versus the Ruby Ridge sniper and the anti-2A cop they hired a couple years ago but crap is crap. Colion Noir could be the spokesman for fucking Hi-Point, doesnt mean im going to start liking them or buying their product.

He needs credentials to have an opinion? Come on now.

They disassemble via putting pressure on tabs on the floorplate. I’ve broken two battlemags by trying to switch out the pull-handles to flush ones.

I creeped their fb page. So much pants -peeing over various ads. There’s a bit of an anti-military vibe too. Somebody needs to get these bored haus fraus something constructive to do. The really funny part is that the haus fraus even have their own anti-gun/anti-military white knights who rush to their aid when challenged by ugly facts and reason.

I also noticed a lot of anti gun comments got deleted from this particular thread because the antis lost their shit and went full retard.

Reply

Jim Jones March 12, 2015 at 07:31 am

Fucking white knights. They still don’t get it.

Reply

Franz March 12, 2015 at 09:24 pm

I disagree they are not haus fraus, they are pajama boys looking for their hot coco in their footie pajamas.

The irony is lost on many.

As proven by many in the gun blogger community (linoge comes to mind; just read his multiple entries about CSGV), when antis are truly challenged and embarrassed for their stupidity, they resort to death threats and become bloodthirsty because those ‘evil gun owners who eat babies’ dont think they way they do, therefore, the military and police should shed blood to disarm them.

If you support government using force to kick in doors and imprison (or kill) people for owning guns, you are scum. Of course, none of these losers have their skin on the firing line and will not be partaking in such disgusting deeds.

“anti-violence” my buttocks. they’re dyed in the wool petty authoritarians.

anyone who tells you that you don’t need a certain liberty . deserves no liberties at all !!

Reply

Well, no. Expressing disbelief in a liberty is in itself practice of the 1st amendment. A+ for enthusiasm though!

Vitsaus March 12, 2015 at 11:43 am

Nice one there Stalin. Maybe we should ship all those liberty haters to our coldest snowiest place and keep them there doing hard labor until they’ve been re-educated into liberty loving….

Yeah, those Troy mags are sub par. I just recently replaced all of mine with empty mags filled with hamsters that feed rounds manually… just due to the fact that hamsters are more reliable than Troy Battlemags. Patti and Sharon… OK MOMS.

Do you think the abbreviation “SGM” threw them off? Would they have understood Sergeant Major or are they really just that stupid?

Reply

ENDO-Mike March 12, 2015 at 12:50 pm

I’m guessing a lot of people wouldn’t know what SGM means. That said, a quick “Kyle Lamb” google search should have educated them haha.

Reply

WRH March 12, 2015 at 01:15 pm

Once again, they don’t let facts get in the way of emotional outbursts.

Soooo many people on the internet are apparently unaware that they can find answers to questions like “Who is Kyle Lamb?” by simply googling it.

Drives me crazy when I’m on a forum and someone asks a question about something simple they could have obviously instantly googled, but they’re content to wait hours or even days for an answer…

Reply

WRH March 12, 2015 at 08:14 pm

Yeah but then you get to wait for the “Let me Google that for you” response, which is always priceless.

We were taught to do your own research, develop your own opinions/conclusions, defend your position, then ask an expert.

Questions returned might surprise.

Are you kidding?

They wouldn’t know what the term “Sergeant Major” means if their life depended on it.

When myself and others posted the Sergeant Major’s credentials, it no doubt caused short circuiting in their tiny, soft brains.

Thats the CSGV to a T.

I love their petty death threats and their fascination with using government violence against those who they disagree with.

My, oh, my, who does this sound like? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Political_repression_in_the_Soviet_Union

Oh right :(

This is my favorite one, the DD add. They are talking in the comments about what “in the back of the police cruiser” means, they actually think it means that DD wants to give gun to criminals in the back of police cars! hahahahahahaha so much Derp

I’m digging all the savvy commenters thanking CSGV for bringing their attention to excellent firearms products with there ad campaign.

“Makes me want to buy another AR-15 platform rifle. I’ve heard a lot of good things about Daniel Defense. Thanks for posting the ad.”

Agitator March 12, 2015 at 11:18 am

I’d consider buying, but I’m hard-wired to do the opposite of whatever a SGM tells me to.

maybe it is the conspiracy theorist in me, but that “go to somalia” comment seems a little too on the nose and served as a great set up to look stupid. makes me also start to think the open carry tools who catcall cops are anti gun plants.

browning did 1911.

Well there is no such thing as bad publicity.

Disregarding the pro/anti gun commentary, between us, is that snakeskin camo? Is that a not P-Mag?

We have bigger issues at hand ladies and gentlemen, we can’t unite against anti-gun stupidity if we’re trying to defend something equally stupid. First, that’s not a P-mag. Whatever it is, I’m personally uninterested. It was hard enough to accept a plastic magazine at onset, it’s still a contention point with me, but all non P-mag plastic AR mags are all Tapco to me. This one probably is, if this is how they want to present it.

I don’t care what these are, and I don’t care to care. Just because I haven’t been able to smash their backup iron sights doesn’t mean they can try to sell shitty mags to me. What’s the difference between a chemical and biological stressor to a magazine? Is it going to contract some pathogen?

It’s an idiotic ad, and it deserves idiotic comments, I can’t find ground to defend it because that would be ignorance itself.

ENDO-Mike March 12, 2015 at 11:00 pm

It definitely does look like a Magpul p-mag, but it’s Troy’s Battle Mag – https://troyind.com/plastics/magazines

The camouflage is made by Kryptek. I believe it is supposed to have a reptile look, because they are taking cues from nature as with all camouflages.

Are you just being oldschool by not liking polymer magazines? It seems like the Magpul P-Mags are very well received across the border, with minimal issues.

roger March 16, 2015 at 05:45 pm

What fucking market is kyle lamb in? it must be Walmart in Syria because I’m pretty sure they import the Chinese troy battle mags and ITAR prevents them from getting legit Magpul.

Otherwise what and ass thing to say, knowing that your credibility was just sold for a paycheck. And that dainty resupply grip “under fire y0!!!!!!”

Troy mags are fine but Magpul mags outperform anything else in the market, Magpul puts in whats necessary to make sure of that.

Thats not to say Troy is shit but I’d want the best I could get if I was any kind of soldier.

You people are retarded. Kyle Lamb was a Sergeant Major in Delta Force, and fought in Mogadishu and other locations.

It is veterans like him that are the quickest to defend the rights of Americans.

The second amendment is designed to protect you from the government. If you disagree you are ignorant. For reference try reading Federalist Paper no. 46. Unequivocally, impossible to argue against, armed citizens ensure the federal government never over steps its bounds.

If someone like Kyle Lamb ever came for you, on behalf of the government, you’d be helpless. That is the point. Defend yourself. If you are incapable and willing to sell away your rights for the illusion of safety then you do not deserve those rights. You must be willing to defend them.

I hate to break it to you limp wrists types. But life is not fair. One day they will come for you. Or your children.

The lucky thing is “gun types” have going for us? You can’t take out right from us, because we have guns. Lol.
