A new show on the discovery channel:

If the world as you know it falls apart, will you rise up to fight? Discovery Channel’s new one-hour documentary follows citizen militia, survival and prepper groups in Arizona, Florida and Indiana who are preparing for the worst.

I’ll have to say I was quite disappointed no one had an Unorganized Milita hat on.  Oh well, I’m sure at least one of them owns one, and wears it when they are in casual mode.

The show premiered on Wednesday October 24th, Did anyone catch it?  If so, how was it?

*eye roll* what a surprise:

Anyone watch the full show last night?  Was it better than expected?

Fitting that the show would feature at least one bleeding zombie Obama shooting target, considering how much Ted doesn’t like Obama.  Stay classy Discovery Channel…

If you missed Episode #1 and want to see what Ted Nugent’s Gun Country is about you can check out the trailer.

Thoughts?

Neva been done befo’:

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms conducted a routine inspection of Red Jacket Firearms and discovered 10 guns registered to the company could not be accounted for … a big, BIG problem.

Yea not ideal. The article goes on to say that Vince (pictured left) was new guy licensed guy in charge, but then he left and two other unnamed bozos took over.

I wonder what will end up happening?  Is the deal that the feds struck with them to surrender their licences the end of it?  Because they are Z list celebs will this get swept under the rug?

As you probably already know from reading my previous posts on Sons Of Derp I’m not a fan.

Oh yea and *insert ATF project gunwalker jokes here*

Thoughts?  Hopes? Dreams?

From the new show “Sons Of Guns” on the Discovery Channel:

Suppressor on a Saiga-12… nice.

Looks like a pretty decent show. I’ll have to remember to DVR it.

“If you can dream it, we can build it” is the motto at Red Jacket, the nation’s most unique weapons business. Owner Will Hayden and his eclectic crew of Baton Rouge, Louisiana gunsmiths and historians rise to the challenge daily on Discovery Channel’s world premiere series SONS OF GUNS, creating one-of-a-kind custom weapons.

The show fires off on Wednesdays at 9PM ET/PT, starting January 26.

Hopefully it’s good… I like the concept.

The guy on the left (in the main picture) looks IDENTICAL to comedian Louis C.K. … well almost identical.. the facial hair is a bit too long.
