Hopefully coming to a rap video near you.  Designer David Roux Fouillet created a custom jig for his airgun and some custom bullets which he then fires into a custom ring.  The bullets smash everything together and create the setting.

Here is a slow motion video of it in action:

Ouch, that shot in the video straight disrespect his mount.  Pieces everywhere!  Must have been made out of some pretty cheap metal considering it’s just an air gun firing the bullet.

I like this idea a lot, but naturally the use of an air gun rather than a large caliber rifle leaves a bad taste in my mouth.  Maybe next dinner plate sized platinum medallion I decide I need, I’ll holler at Richard Ryan, and him and I will create a platinum .50 BMG “LUX AS _ _ _ _” load and blast it out of his Barrett. Ball so hard…

<– Dude’s logo is on point!  He has a website too, but unfortunately it’s just a splash page with the logo and his email address.

Mexican soldiers have seized an arsenal of gold-plated and diamond-encrusted weapons believed to belong to the Valencia gang, allies of the powerful Sinaloa drug cartel and, it seems, fans of hip-hip excess.

Showing just how flamboyant gang members spend much of their ill-gotten wealth, pictures show how most of the 31 ‘pimped’ pistols found in a raid on a home in western Mexico had gold or silver-plated grips or were glittered with diamonds.

Three of the assault rifles are almost entirely gold-plated and there was even a silencer plated with gold. One particularly image-conscious gangster has made his pistol unique by adding rows of gaudy red and green jewels and a Ferrari logo.

I don’t know about you guys, but I’d open carry that black 1911 with the diamond punisher grips with pride.

I’m honestly shocked that someone in the main stream media was able to write an article on Mexican drug cartel’s guns and not even mention the ubiquitous “gun show loophole”

The rifles aren’t really my style, although I still think they would be an awesome addition to any collection. Pretty neat how even the suppressor has engraving all over it.

Where does one even get such badass work done?  I imagine it would takes days worth of time, and be very expensive.  My guess is that these cartels have jewelers and gunsmiths on the payroll.

Portland’s Kamp Grizzly developed a steam-punk style pneumatic cupcake cannon and set the stage for eating frosty delights at 120psi. The blasting buffet was documented in at 700fps coming off the Phantom HD Gold.

Uh.. AWESOME!

Where does one sign up for something like this?  My cupcake intake has been frighteningly low lately. :P

I would have liked to see more of the actual cannon because it looks pretty badass with all the copper and what not. Steampunk has such fun design aspects to it.

Unsurprisingly, the camera that google uses in the slow motion video I recently posted is way better than this one.

For those of you that were a fan of the previous Winchester Ranger Ammo Comparison.  Here is a similar comparison chart for Speer Gold Dot ammunition:

Both charts are definitely worth taking into consideration when choosing you’re carry ammunition.
