GTA

Corridor Digital really did a nice job on this:

Behind the scenes:

GTA-Corridor-DigitalVery surprising it was all filmed on a GoPro with various extended poles.

It’s interesting that they can fly below the radar and avoid getting permits to film. Also funny, since they have their lawyer there. My guess is they rarely get hassled because they are probably very safe and respectful. Probably the worst case scenario is a small fine in the event they were to get caught and the police officer wasn’t down with the cause.

3:00 – Man I’m seeing those two wheeled self balancing scooters everywhere now.  They look dangerous and fun.  I imagine there will be a lot of cracked heads from those this summer.

helicopter-sharpshooter-sniperAlright so obviously this guy did not give two shits he was being chased by the police, nor did he have any concern for the safety of others.  I don’t understand why they didn’t take a shot from the helicopter, just do the world a favor and kill him early on?  Sure that particular helicopter may not have had someone riding shotgun to do that, but when a chase goes on for that long and is that dangerous why didn’t they send another helicopter with a sharpshooter to take care of it?  People shoot wild hogs from the air with ease and they are quick… I don’t see how shooting this guy would have been any harder considering all the chances they had.  I know some of you are going to say “BUT MIKE HE HAS THE RIGHT TO A FAIR TRIAL.  6th Amendment bRo, look it up”.  Sure, but doesn’t the right to live your life without the worry of being killed by a criminal scumbag trump the right he has to a trial?

Mario and Luigi get the guns out:

“Never bring a hammer to a gunfight”… so true.

The “it’s a me Mario” with moltov cocktail at the end was awesome.

Eight Primary schools in Liverpool (UK) are using the notorious Grand Theft Auto video game to teach pupils about violence.

The sessions are supposed to help youngsters understand the consequences of gun and knife crime. The youngsters are also given trading cards with images from the video game and the cartoons, alongside real-life images of drunks, knives, syringes and parents arguing.  The youngsters are asked to say whether what they see is ‘good real life’, ‘bad real life’, ‘not real life’ or ‘not sure’.

Sounds like one of the dumbest ideas I have ever heard.   Why are they even bothering to educated kids in the UK on gun and knife crime anyway?  I thought both were banned there.  :P  If there is one thing I hope the kids take away from this Grand Theft Auto education, it’s that its OK to fight back.  Basically if the guy shooting at you is using a handgun, by all means use a rocket propelled grenade launcher to take care of business.

Speaking of Grand Theft Auto… a new one comes out on April 13th for PS3 called “Episodes From Liberty City”… You can buy it on Amazon – HERE for only $38.54
