gun show

Ugh, I literally can’t even:

1:24 – LOL this sneaky-ass old man right here.  This is some real stereotypical gun show material.  So classic.  $1800! LOLOL with a Dick Spider 37mm even (gotta love that safety “rocket” *snicker*).  What make of shotgun is that anyways?  I can’t tell with all that crap on it.

1:35 – “there’s none on the market yet, it’s a brand new company.  They make stuff for the military and private individual stuff.”  Oh man this gets even better.

2:27 – Uggghhh guys… noooooo.  That shotgun and that Turkish Sarsilmaz handgun for $2100.  Nooooooooo LOL.

2:38 – $2100 in small bills.  Real low key like.

3:04 – “This is a hundred round drum?” *CRINGE*

4:19 – He’s just going to walk through a crowded casino and out in public with a shotgun like that.  I don’t know Vegas very well, but regardless of the urban location that still doesn’t seem like that great of an idea to me even taking into account he’s obviously not acting threatening at all + has a few kids and a wife with him. *shrug*

6:49 – Ugh I was wondering what that little girl was carrying… it appears he even got that crappy looking stand.

Thoughts?  I guess it’s good he’s on “our side”, I just hate to see people taken advantage of.

Just go to a gun show! I thought we were calling this lie the “Gun Show Loophole” or was that just for regular semi-autos?:

MIND THE TERROR GAP!

Purple-Shark-Military-Medal-EtsyOh MAIG… you really jumped the shark with this one.  I chuckled at your “Demand A Plan” bullshit, I laughed some more when that failed and you started to “Demand Action“.  Saying you can pick up an auto at a gun show without a background check is ridiculous… two seconds worth of fact checking would have blew that myth out of the water.

On a related note, why hasn’t Adam Yahiye Gadahn (dude in the video) been wiped off the face of this earth yet? I hate that guy so much.

MrColionNoir breaks it down how he always does:

BET-Hates-MrColionNoirMrColionNoir recently told me to take my t-shirts and shove them because I refused to print on salmon colored blanks especially for him. Fame sure changes people. hahha just kidding we are still cool, I know we will see ENDO shirts on him again soon.

The guy just makes sense.

Come as you are, preferably with cash or a gun you don’t want:

With a gun, all you have to do is walk up to some dude with a cardboard sign under the freeway, hand over the gun for the money, and forget about it. Not only is there no background check, you don’t even have to know the buyer’s name. There’s a gun-sale report you could file with the state. But unlike with cars, it’s voluntary.

Full story – Seattle Times

Hahaha epic, that smells like freedom to me.  I see nothing wrong with a collector or regular guy padding his safe with awesome guns that people found or decided they were scared of, or just didn’t want. I highly doubt criminals are going to venture to gun buybacks, when they could just as easily buy a gun off the streets hours later when they aren’t crawling with cops.

In the spirit of seattle grunge rock, I’ll quote the late great Kurt Cobain even though he was talking about not having a gun:

And I swear that I don’t have a gun
No I don’t have a gun
No I don’t have a gun

Definitely my favorite acoustic album of all time, but I digress…

The gun store guys have a gripe a lot of your are familiar with:

The gun show loophole is such a load of crap.  They cover it all in the video, but basically it’s just a typical example of the media blowing everything out of proportion and getting the core facts wrong.

Blog reader Javi sent this in, and I thought it was too good to not post:

I went to the Tallahassee gun show today and found this (condor airsoft) rig selling for 265:

It came with that thin piece of tin as a “ballistics” armour. I wish I could say they were selling it as an airsoft product, but that wasnt the case. They also had 2 older LE vests that looked like they have been run over by a truck for 600. To top of the day, this guy happened to be standing next to me at another booth looking at glocks. He explained that he left his glock in the street on day and the garbage truck ran it over which broke the “thingy.” He insited on buying a 9mm, and other things. I had a video of another conversation he had with a vendor about getting a ccw, but the audio is crap. Needless to say he and the ridiculous “tactical hillbilly’s” walking around provide some good entertainment for the crap lousy show it was.

LOL too good.  I especially like how that guy’s Glock was ran over by a garbage truck after he left it in the street.

Anyone else have any good gun show tales?
