Heckler & Koch

Who ever said select fire rifles don’t have a sporting application was wrong:

That’s a nice spread on the table at the beginning!

Recoil Magazine must be shaking in their money filled boots knowing that 3 civilians were able to get a hold of an MP7.  Luckily the only casualty that day was a digital SLR.

Speaking of digital SLRs, I really thought I would get a lot more use out of my Canon 60D than I have so far.  I have used it for some shirt pics and what not, but I just find I don’t have the time to play with it as much as I’d like to.  Maybe I’ll shoot a full look book for ENDO Apparel this summer.

Richard-Ryan-ENDOI know I said this in the past, but Corridor Digital is awesome.  I haven’t posted all that much of their stuff lately because it has been very videogame oriented but you should make sure to check them out.

Make sure you subscribe to Richard Ryan on YouTube or at the very least troll him here or in his comments.

Stay for the gratuitous slow motion:

For $200 the Kindle Fire HD looks good on the surface.  I’d probably get pissed off really quickly at the bastardized Android OS though.

I love the in depth analysis he gives on the construction of the shot up device haha.

Haters gonna hate, and apparently plot terrorism:

Not sure if THAT incredibly stupid.. or just trolling.  ShutDownH&K is seeking crowd funding on indiegogo to fly helicopters over the factory of HK and drop a sand cement mixture over it to seal it up.  Maybe the definition of terrorism is different in Germany, but that sounds like a clear cut threat to me.  I’m sure we will see the indiogogo campaign go *poof* any day now.

All else aside, I don’t think they really thought through the logistics.  Can you imagine how much cement it would take to cover a factory?  The quantity of cement a helicopter could carry?  That would be 10s of thousands of helicopter trips.  My guess is if this actually did end up going down, they would be on helicopter trip #2 and an employee would walk out of the HK factory with one of their snazzy 40mm grenade launchers, line the helicopter up in the sights, pull the trigger, helicopter goes down in flames, employee dusts his hands off and clocks out for lunch.

You might remember ShutDownH&K from their witty “Not In Nottingham” H&K x Robin Hood spoof.  Maybe ShutDownH&K is just bitter because H&K thinks they suck and they hate them.

Made by some kids at the University of Nottingham in the UK:

Pretty risky move in the UK.  Observe at 1:47 when the crazed smoke ring gunman lets loose.

I purpose filling the box with a mixture of concentrated cigarette smoke and farts, and essentially firing cancer and stink directly at enemy lungs.

The University of Nottingham is in the hometown of Heckler & Koch.  If HK made a smoke ring vortex cannon they would only sell it to law enforcement for copious amounts of money, and scoff at the civilian market worldwide.

You can check out this bigger, more grown up version of the Cannon with a guy that’s just a bit more excited than he should be.

and attempt to drive them out of their home town with witty Robin Hood references:

Lots more pictures and info over at the artist/poster bomber’s website – HERE

Probably one of the best songs from a disney movie.  I immediately grabbed my guitar and looked up the tab before posting this… classic stuff.

I guess the tables turned on HK, civilians are normally used to being on the receiving end of hate from that company. :P

So True:

The MP7 looks so awesome.  Too bad they didn’t come in calibers other than 4.6x30mm.
