MrColionNoir on last week’s video on the Colorado state senator suggesting ballpoint pens for self-defense:
“You don’t bring a ballpoint pen to a mass shooting.” <– Church

My only question is, are high capacity ballpoint pens allowed? You know, those rotating ones with the different colors (pictured above)? Is there a limit on the number of pens that can go into the chamber? What about tactical pens? Can they have pocket clips on them? I’ve got so many more questions….
It’s just safer if everyone has pens… no “crossfire” of random irresponsible people shooting at the shooter. *eye roll*

You can pick one up from ThinkGeek for $50 (if they ever get them back in stock)
I could have sworn my dad had a Rotring pen with the same action 20 years ago. At that time it was just considered a pen though, and not re-branded to be “tactical” in order to sell a million of them to COD and Airsoft nerds.
I wouldn’t buy 99% of the stuff on ThinkGeek because collecting random crap is not something I do. There is that 1% of their products though, that are so clever I almost want to buy them.

…. I need to see a pen that can beat that!
Looks like a lot of fun, but a likely trip to the hospital if you are not careful.
The sword is $550 at Cold Steel ( HERE ). At that price, it looks like I’ll have to keep my non weirdo status (and my limbs), and live vicariously through the video.
