Hopefully coming to a rap video near you.  Designer David Roux Fouillet created a custom jig for his airgun and some custom bullets which he then fires into a custom ring.  The bullets smash everything together and create the setting.

Here is a slow motion video of it in action:

Ouch, that shot in the video straight disrespect his mount.  Pieces everywhere!  Must have been made out of some pretty cheap metal considering it’s just an air gun firing the bullet.

I like this idea a lot, but naturally the use of an air gun rather than a large caliber rifle leaves a bad taste in my mouth.  Maybe next dinner plate sized platinum medallion I decide I need, I’ll holler at Richard Ryan, and him and I will create a platinum .50 BMG “LUX AS _ _ _ _” load and blast it out of his Barrett. Ball so hard…

<– Dude’s logo is on point!  He has a website too, but unfortunately it’s just a splash page with the logo and his email address.

When cannon rings are outlawed, only outlaws will have cannon rings:

ReticleFingerRingBan assault cannon rings!  I wouldn’t want to have a kaboom with one of those on.  The regular fuse and powder burns alone would put an end to my side career as a tactical hand model.

A short demonstration of their lethality:

Come-And-Take-ItThese things are likely in cartel hands by now, being distributed to nefarious characters worldwide.  That cannon assault ring loophole is killing our youth, we have to ban them before another life is lost.

Keep your eyes on the front sight:

Probably legal in the UK.  I’m sure these will sell like hotcakes there, you just have to remember to aim for the criminal’s face where it will sting the most.

Neat idea!  I’m surprised I never thought of this back in elementary school when we used to have Elastic band wars daily.

Maybe i’ll get a platinum wedding ring with a front sight on it someday? :P

I’m looking forward to the future design that incorporates a tritium powered red-dot with magnification.

DO IT EMO… DO IIIIIIIIIIT:

NOTE: The video was removed from youtube, so either the ATF booted down the Emo’s door, shot his dog and took his computer… or else maybe he just got wind of the AOW he made (as pointed out by Miguel in the comments) and deleted it to avoid trouble.

You’ll lose a finger.. but the plus is you’ll get so much attention.

Seriously though, Ideas like this make me cringe.

I like the track they used in the video.. pretty raw. Does that make me part emo? Shit I hope not.

If I got my girlfriend one of these, she would likely want to punch me:

For this work, I collected spent bullets at a firing range and made jewelery out of them.

The rings that were created remove the bullet from its original function and they surprisingly turn into a bejeweled object and emphasize the beauty and aesthetics of the bullet when it is distanced from its surroundings

Every bullet retains memories and traces of the journey it underwent from the moment it was fired until it was picked up.

Interesting…

I have two concerns when it comes to this particular art/jewelery:

  1. Some of the corners look incredibly sharp.
  2. Am I the only one extremely conscious of lead poisoning?  At the very least I’d say those should have a clear coat on them for safety reasons.
