Smart Shooting Targets Like A Damn Video Game

I wish it wasn’t “crowdfunded” but nevertheless it’s cool:

video-game-target-featuresSure it makes thing A LOT more complicated… but it also increases fun by the looks of it.  So dynamic brAh. “Smart targets”, “Smart guns”, “Smart watches”… gotta shoehorn electronics into ALL THE SIMPLE THINGS in today’s day and age to keep the cool teens satisfied. :P

You can check out the indiegogo campaign for the details.  You’ll likely shit a brick when you see how expensive this system is… entry level is $600 for two rimfire targets + $150 for a required base station.

22Plinkster made a video on the product also, which you can check out.  Did he get paid millions of dollars to make it?  Maybe… as we know the dude retired from his day job.

Micro Tannerite Targets

Everyone else goes big, Taofledermaus the contrarian goes little:

tannerite-binary-explosive-targetNot bad.  Seems like a slightly more exciting / a bit more costly version of when guys put baby powder in balloons and shoot them.

I couldn’t do videos like his because I always assume EVERYTHING that’s cool is illegal.  Like that little claymore mine they attempted for instance.  Can you mix binary explosives with other random stuff intended as shrapnel? *shrug* I don’t know, and I’m not willing to read boring laws for days in order to still not quite be sure.

DIY PVC Target Stand For Only $15

JohnnyIshootStuff made a little vid about his easy to build stand:

triple-tap-poster-chinese-IPSC-shootingLooks good.  Due to its light weight I’m assuming you’d probably need to put something on the legs when the wind picks up… but I’m sure you guys can figure out something creative.  Heck you could probably fill the legs up with sand after incorporating a couple extra PVC pieces into the mix. As is you could probably pour cement in them.

Orc Shooting Targets For Hardcore Nerd Operators

Attention all nerd operators who operate in parent’s basement operations:

LOL I lost it at “Ever want to put a slug between an orc’s eyes?”  Uh no… no I haven’t.  It’s relevant to note that I can use the parents basement jokes with impunity because I operated from my parents’ for a long time.

Like every solid idea, this is a indiegogo campaign *eye roll*.  At least their $6500 goal is probably reasonable.  Some jokers on Kickstarter and Indiegogo make the most hilarious goals for the stupidest shit.

Unsurprisingly they go full-nerd with this and even have a “playable game” for each target, explained below:
