Junior IPSC?

Sadly, this little guy probably shoots better than I do:

I caught a glimpse of an IPSC patch a couple places in the video. I don’t know if this in the U.S. or not.

That kid can sure handle a .45 without any issue though. I wonder how he scored?

I wonder why the slide doesn’t lock when his magazine is empty?

I thought the same thing. Maybe limp wristing?

I don’t think you probably have to worry about him shooting better than you. I noticed every time he pulls the trigger on an empty chamber he jerks the muzzle of the pistol down about an inch and a half!

You’re probably right, but maybe he aims high to accommodate for that :P

Yes, he’s got quite a flinch going. I hope he gets trained to overcome it, maybe in a more manageable round.

Yea .45 definitely isn’t the best starter round. Strangely though I can shoot my g21 much better than my g17 though. I attribute it to the fact there isn’t as much “snap” in the .45, the recoil feels a lot more dull.

Yea.. i saw the kid anticipating and flinching, but more importantly i saw another well trained shooter in the making

Oh cool thanks for the info. I googled him and there actually are quite a few pages with info and pictures on him. It looks like he has a promising future in competitive shooting.

Good observation, I didn’t notice that when I watched it initially. Now I see it’s obvious during his reload at 2min 7seconds.

Maybe it’s due to his small hands? You’d think they could at least put some sort of low profile cover over the magwell cutout for him.

Excellent start in life! Yeah, get him something lighter than a 45, kid would rock even harder than he did! The fact that he did what he did on film is incredible though. Pick at him for flinch/jerk/whatever if you will, the kid was still there doing it.

Yea! can you imagine how he would tear it up with a .22 ?
